Description
We live in mid coast Maine with our small dog and fatty cat. We own a second residence across the street from our home. In this second residence in addition to an bnb unit, I have a design/vintage style studio with separate living quarters. I am looking for a woman to help me in organizing vintage inventory and as well as doing some tailoring.
Please do not respond if you do not have tailoring skills.
Maximum time 2 weeks possibly more depending on your schedule and/or work.
I am looking for help for at least 4-5 hours a day- 4 days a week. You would have three days off for your personal time. Food is not included, but there is a full kitchen in the studio.
Elisa's studio and your living quarters are in the Victorian house across the street from our home. We are two blocks from the beach, and one block to the village with cafes, grocers and eateries. The house is also nestled in with the campus of a well known marine museum.
If this sounds like something you are interested in , please let me know!

Maine has much to offer, lobstering, marine history and in my work the material culture of style. You would have free access to the Penobscot Marine Museum next door. Each week there are many cultural festivals and events held In nearby towns and on organic farms.

What else ...
There is so much to do here on the mid coast of Maine. The weather is gorgeous and the air is clean. Festivals and events abound each week during the spring, summer and fall....there’s so many to choose from. Two local weekly farmers markets, art markets, farm days, kayaking, sailing, beachcombing, fresh local food and seafood. Your weekends are yours and I’m always happy to take you on adventures, or get you where you want to go. A bicycle is available for town riding, or if you have a car, there are some fabulous scenic off road trails and bike paths Within an easy drive. Of course just relaxing with your reading list is great too! With an easy 5 minute walk from our house you can hike through peaceful woods gathering ripe wild blackberries, blueberries and raspberries, or stroll along the beach and wade through tide pools at low tide. The beach offers great swimming also. Close to Acadia, Camden, and lots of lighthouses!
