Description
Emily is a History teacher and Paul works for a global Agri-business. We have two children, Thomas (5) and Clara (under 1). We live in rural Cambridgeshire, in a lovely village four miles from Newmarket (home of horse racing). We have a lovely large house and garden which we enjoy. Emily works in Bury St Edmunds, a lovely medieval town, and Paul in Cambridge.
We love our garden and downs a lot of time trying to improve it. We also enjoy cycling, walks in Thetford forest and time at the beach (swimming in the sea if we can!). There is a good train station at Kennet nearby which means easy access to cities and towns nearby, with London also easily accessible. Our house has a guest wing, with en-suite bedroom and sitting room, which allows lots of privacy for those staying as it is separate from the upstairs bedrooms the family use. We have a very good piano and a large kitchen for those who enjoy cooking.
I am looking for generally help around the house - laundry, cooking, tidying toys, help sorting and a few evenings babysitting while children sleep. I would be looking for female who has some childcare experience and intermediate English skills.Types of help and learning opportunities
Babysitting and creative playCreating/ Cooking family mealsHelp around the houseCultural exchange and learning opportunities
Travellers can learn English and how life in an English village works. Emily has lots of knowledge about History, Art, Music and Gardens. Paul loves sport including cricket and tennis at the local clubs. Travellers would have time and means to travel to nearby cities and town and explore a wealth of local history and culture.

Help
We are looking to have some help with childcare, some evening babysitting, light cleaning or cooking if appropriate. We are open to whatever skills and preferences the work away has and are will to be flexible to find something that works for both parties. No experience is necessary but a willingness to learn and help us. We are also keen to learn from those staying and embrace the idea of cultural exchange.

These include places such as Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Norwich, Thetford, London, coast towns such as Hunstanton and Felixstowe. Stanstead airport and Luton airport very easy distance and again Emily and Paul would collect and drop off if desired.
