Description
Kia ora! We are a Te Reo Māori speaking family of 4 (our youngest is 11months old) and are establishing ourselves on 20 acres alongside a couple of other families. We're situated in Te Uku, 10 min drive to the beautiful and funky surfing town of Raglan. Our vision is to convert a dairy farm into an organic oasis. We have a yurt, a tiny house and a cabin that functions as a sleep out (workawayers accommodation) by night and an office during work hours of the week. Its a lovely space with a good double bed, and you'll have your own worm drop composting loo beside lol!. We will just need to use the desk and computer during the day approx 4x per week. My partner Madelin and I have set up a local charitable trust that offers rites of passage for teenagers in the community and trains mentors and facilitators from around the country. We're looking for someone to stay with us and help in the māra kai (garden) and to support around the home with maintenance and building projects and on the land. We'd love to hear from you, Mauri Ora! Madelin, Tiaki, Tāwhai and Māhina
