Description
Welcome to my little nest. Just recently moved into my little heaven up the mountain in North Leitrim, Ireland. I'm a Digital media and performance artist who wants to add much creative love and finish to this already existing work of art thats here. There's just under 3 acres of mountain side, with the occasional visiting Ram from down the road. No animals or veg yet, just finding my feet and exploring the land to see whats here and see the potential of the adventure ahead. Its an interesting and quirky home which also needs a little TLC and further creative expansion. I'm here most of the time but getting a bit scattered with all the different bits to do so some help and support from some kind volunteers would be much appreciated

I have back in the day been a volunteer also so I know this from both sides, being an arty creative, traveller and holistic type I'm sure there is a lot of my knowledge I can share with you also over the dinner table.
Help
So many little bits around the place from searching and discovering the hidden large boulders and rockeries from under the moss growth, to dealing with brambles and repurposing the vines as weaving materials, trying to get a bamboo barrier in place and take control of its growth, claiming back two old stone sheds and repurposing them, building furniture bits as needed from pallet wood and keeping the weeds down and adding some more trees to soak up some of the water in the land. Would suit those who are creative types and if you have any specific skills please do let me know in advance, it's important to me that people can leave their creative mark on the space here and add to its creation and its supposed to a fun exchange right.

Accommodation
Single room inside the main house with single bed. The house is shared with me, right now its only suitable for one person, which I might expand on later as I take control of the space. Blankets and all that is here. I'm not a vegetarian but I do enjoy vegetarian food so its not a problem if you are. Depending how we get along we will find a flow in terms of if we eat together or separately, some days probably yes and other days not.
No fast wifi here I am working from the Internet tethered from my phone and for uploads and downloads I go down down. Town is about 15 min drive down the mountain, its quite an isolated little bubble up here so its good if you like your own company and can handle the silence, peace and tranquility of being in nature.
It rains a lot so you will need suitable clothes and shoes for that. House is nice and cosy and there is still some work needing doing at the minute, but its certainly cosy and functional. I can provide the food, heat and board in exchange for 5 days, 5 hours a day, we can try to keep the work varied to ensure that everything is done in the right spirit of enjoyment. If there is a task you really dislike or struggle with we can find something more suited for you the next day. Bring your own creative skills forward to this table and let's see what we can get up to.
Essentially the exchange should be one out of mutual respect for each other with clear communication. There is a bicycle in the shed I am not sure if its fixable, but I will also be going down the town regularly enough.
What else ...
The local town is very creatively vibrant so there are regular creative events on and the scenery is beautiful. there seem to be buses from the town to other major transport hubs so there is potential to visit some places via the public transport system, although you should know in Ireland its not very friendly in the way. If you have your own transport its better. Please have your own medical/travel insurance, its a bit tricky with doctors around here at the minute as most of them seem full, struggling to get myself one as well, but we should as much as possible try not to injure ourselves in any way while working up here, but in case of accident its better that you have your own insurance.
