Description
Hi
My name is Ibraheem and I live with my family in Wadi Rum, we are a Bedouin family and have our own distinct culture, meet new people, and exchange many things with them. Also, we have a small Bedouin traditional camp in Wadi Rum desert.
We are a family business that provide authentic Bedouin experience to our guests. All of our guides are born and raised in this desert who are always eager to share their wisdom with you. We will share with you the most beautiful hidden places in Wadi Rum. Be it an new adventure, or just to enjoy the scenery, the possibilities are endless in this beautiful desert.Types of help and learning opportunities

Travelers can learn many things, including who the Bedouin are and how they live. Volunteers can also see firsthand which animals the Bedouin rear and how they live peacefully in the Wadi Rum desert.
As a volunteer, you can experience the Bedouin live and can explore the vast beauty of the Wadi Rum desert with us. Whether it's sleeping under the stars with zero light pollution or climbing the sand dunes, there is always something to learn and do in the desert.
We can also show you around the desert, there is a place for hiking and climbing rock not far from here, all within walking distance.Projects involving children

Help
We need volunteers to assist us with guest check-in, and cleaning at the campsite.
Our slogan in wadi rum is: keep wadi rum clean. unfortunately, there is a lot of trash around, moved by the wind, like plastic bags and bottles and so on. It would be nice to collect that trash and put them away around our facilities.Languages spoken
Arabic: Fluent
English: FluentAccommodation
We provide accommodation (both male and female) in our home in Wadi Rum village and will also provide meals for the volunteer. The volunteer is also welcome to sleep under the stars with our Bedouin family in the desert. Of course we provide private accommodation to give some privacy.
What else ...
There are many activities the volunteers can do in their free time. They can do some hiking, walk around the desert, exploring a new place, visit Shalala Spring (40m from our home) as well as the Nabatean temple (20m from home)
Lawrence spring is another destination that is approximately one 1hour away. Sand dunes and canyons are there to be explored in the desert as well.
this includes the experience to live in the desert-like mars.
For the transport: There's a bus from Aqaba to Wadi Rum every day except Friday. The bus leaves around 1 pm but you want to be there earlier to have a seat.
From Petra to Wadi Rum there's a bus every day at 6 am.
If you come from Amman, you can take the bus to Aqaba to reach the 1pm bus. Taxis are also available from Aqaba.
Taxis are always available to take to Wadi Rum from any location but is more expensive than public transport. The choice is yours.
We will be able to pick you up at the wadi rum village only, this is the last stand for every public vehicle could gain access, includes bus.
We hope to greet new friends soon!A little more information
