    Description

We are a family of three (soon to be four) living in an idyllic little village in northern Germany.
Our farm also has three horses, two dogs, a cat, about thirty chickens, a pair of ducks and some wild pheasants.
We love spending time outdoors, as well as cooking and baking and creating things. At the moment mainly the renovation of our house. But we also enjoy gardening, processing firewood and driving/riding/hiking through the surrounding countryside.
Fruit (apples, pears, cherries, plums, berries) is already growing seasonally and is just waiting to be harvested. As soon as time and helping hands allow, we would also like to grow our own vegetables.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to find out more about us or if you have any questions.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are open-minded and love to exchange with other nationalities, as we have traveled a lot ourselves (New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Southern Europe), but unfortunately this was a few years ago and is not really an option at our current stage of life. We are looking forward to meeting people from other countries and having a cultural exchange.

    Accommodation

We live in a spacious farmhouse from the 19th century (build in 1844). You will have your own room with Wifi, TV and a view of the horse paddock. We also provide bed linen and towels.
You will find a photo of your guest room attached.
Of course, we also provide you with delicious, home-made food and drinks (e.g. our own apple and pear juice).

    What else ...

It is 6 km from our village to the nearest town (Bad Bevensen), where there is a train station. We provide bicycles, but there is also a public bus service. It is about 80 km to Hamburg (45 minutes by train) or 30 km to Lüneburg (15 minutes by train) - both beautiful cities, highly recommended for day trips.
But also the closer surroundings of our village invite you to go cycling, canoeing, swimming or hiking.
There is a sports club in our village, which is also happy to welcome guests.
If you like to relax and read or listen to music in your free time, there is probably no better place than the beautiful little lake on our property.
