    Description

    Hi there,
We are a family of 4 living in a beautiful scenic area just 1 hour from the Capital City of Dublin, Ireland. So here you can experience the best of both worlds (busy city and peaceful countryside!).
Vincent works in the City as a builder and I am a Mindfulness / Buddhist Psychotherapy student. Tuan (boy) is 13 and has just started secondary school. Tuula (girl) is starting secondary school this year.
Tuans passion is football and technology and Tuulas is horseriding. We all horseride and have 2 horses. We all so have a bassethound - Rosie who is much loved. I play some traditional music, violin, singing and guitar. There's lots of opportunity for music here. There is a brass band and traditional Irish music sessions locally. Also lots of English language courses. If you have interest and experience with horses this would be a great place for you. Generally we like to keep things fairly simple and relaxed here. We have a sauna and hot tub that help with this. Amongst other things we value good communication, a positive attitude and openness.

At the moment we would also welcome some help training our 2 family horses. We have an Irish draught and a Connemara who need flat and dressage help mainly. Show jumping and cross country experience would also be a also a plus if you have it!!

We are in a really beautiful environment here, trees, mountains and unusual scenery that people come from all over the world to see. But we are also only one hour from the busy City of Dublin. We have horses in a local trekking centre which is very sociable and fun. You can trek for miles here over the mountain or enjoy the safety of the arena. This Winter we will go on Hunts and ride outs locally and you are welcome to ride with us and spend your free time with the horses. It would be best if you have some horseriding experience already.
If you play a musical instrument there are lots of opportunities locally - just ask me for details. You will have the opportunity here to learn some Irish too as both children are studying Irish.

    Help

We would like to have someone for a minimum of 2 months. The help we need is centred around the running of the house and helping with the childrens homework. We would love someone who likes to cook healthy food. We are not super tidy but it is nice to have some order. People who like gardening, holistic therapies, cooking and horse training are also appreciated.

    Accommodation

We have a room in our house for you to sleep in. We eat well here and there is usually plenty of food in the house! If you have special requirements let me know. We have good internet for emailing and skyping here. You will be able to treat the house as your own and use any of the facilities. The sauna and jacuzzi are brilliant after a cold days horse riding!!
Please ask me for any further information that you wish to know.
