Description
+++ Only people for helping with the kids who speak minimum slightly german please. Our kids don’t speak english. +++
Hej Hej!
We are a young family of five and started to reconstruct/renovate our charming old house in 2020. Since summer 2021 we live there.
As we still continue working on our house a lot we don’t have to much time for our household and could need some help with taking care of the kids (especially the little one).
The house has a big (wild) garden and even though the neighborhood belongs to a small city it´s in a more village style area surrounded by nature and some water. There is a lake reachable in 15 to 20 minutes by bike.Types of help and learning opportunities
Babysitting and creative playHelp around the houseGeneral MaintenanceCultural exchange and learning opportunities
We like to share our knowledge as an architect and carpenter. You can learn about sustainable reconstruction theoretical and practical.

Help
We basically need help for:
taking care of our kids
household (dishwasher, laundry, cleaning)
gardeningLanguages spoken
German: Fluent
English: FluentAccommodation
You will live in our tiny house (28qm caravan). Beside two bedrooms it provides a livingroom, small bathroom and kitchen wich the workaways share.
In the tiny house we have an ecological compost toilet wich you are responsible for (empty buckets, keeping it clean, etc.).
We do not provide food. Only accommodation is free.
There is a supermarket reachable by 15-minutes-walk or 5-minutes-bike-ride.What else ...
We need people who act really responsible for what they do and the tasks coming up.
We try to save water because of the environment and because we are not connected to canalization. Please think twice before taking a shower if it’s really necessary. Please do not shower every day!
Please be binding when we found dates and please don’t cancel last minute. We are planing with you when fixed the dates. It is really uncool if a workaway suddenly and unexpected doesn’t show up.
When your stay ends and you leave it’s obligatory to clean your room, your shared kitchen and fridge as well as the bathroom with shower and toilet.A little more information

It was a great start into my travel journey and I can just recommend staying with them!

They were really welcoming, understanding and easygoing. I have learned a lot there and could enjoy the area and Berlin. I helped around with the kids, the baby, and some works in the house. Having meals all together, and long… read more
