** WELCOME TO THE SUNSHINE COAST **

    ❤️Attention Spanish speakers! ❤️

We love sharing our home & location with others.

Over the years we have welcomed people from all over the world and at the moment we are currently wanting Spanish speakers, ideally Argentinian.

We are a 2 child family (aged 13 & 16) living outside the funky market town of Eumundi, 25 mins to the beaches of Noosa. There's lots to see in the area, we love nature, have bikes to ride and for longer stays there are opportunities to borrow our canoe/kayaks to take up the Noosa River to camp for the weekend. The property has plenty of space and beautiful views with lots of plans to turn it into a productive organic oasis.

Current inside jobs include assisting Arzu in her craft studio & general cleaning.

Outside work is creating an external retreat - landscaping new camper area, creating a fire pit, stone stairways, gardening as well as general maintenance like the vegetable garden, weeding, raking and helping with the chickens.

This will all be with guidance from us so it's fine if you have never done any of this before. Just be ready to learn. :-)

We try to give visitors a variety of jobs to keep it interesting or to suit the weather where possible.

You have your own private space with comfortable camper - 2 beds, lights, fridge, cooker, power & the best sunsets!

The main house is available for the bathroom & shower.

Food is provided for breakfast and lunch with shared sit down dinners together.

We don't own a TV but Wi-Fi available.

    No smokers please.

In exchange for food and accommodation we require 4.5hrs assistance a day (with 2 days a week off). We would love you to sometimes speak Spanish with our 16yr old son who is going to Argentina in student exchange soon. Not formal lessons - just chatting.

We want you to enjoy your time here so we will try to be flexible with work times. If you would like extra days off we just ask for time to cover.

We love traveling and meeting people from around the world so come and share your culture with us. We are looking forward to meeting you.

    Arzu & Ian

Here is what others have said......

We spent nearly 2 amazing months with Arzu, Ian, Kaya and Elan. We immediatly felt part of the family, all of them are really kind. Helping them is just a pleasure. In exchange they really opened their heart for us, wanting us to feel the best, and it worked.

The food is amazing, we took so many recipes from Arzu and Ian. The garden is a nice place to work, with a beautiful view, and happy chooks.

The boys are lovely and funny, we loved sharing moments with them, building their tree house, playing chess...

We learnt a lot with them, about gardening, about food but also about children, relationships and creativity.

    This family is just amazing!!!
Thanks for everything, for every moment we spent in your house and with you, we will forget you. (Cassandre and Pierre, France).

We spent the most wonderful 10 days in Australia with this lovely family. We could feel the good energy even since before getting there and confirmed it when we were received at their home. The house is beautiful and has an incredible view to the mountains and sunsets.

From the beginning they asked us what we wanted to do and learn while we were there and which were our expectations, and they respected that. They are very gentle, caring, open-minded, kind and giving people. They made this exchange one of the most fulfilling experiences we had. We easily became a part of the family and felt at home. We learnt a lot and will be forever thankfull. We got along straight away, had amazing conversations and shared unforgettable moments.

Her cooking mmmmm… just delicious!! Everything was fresh and organic. She even gave us some of her recipes and cooked flan for us so that we would feel even more like home.

On one of our days off they lend us their canoe and camping stuff. Ian took us to the river and we did 3 hours paddling to through the national park and upper Noosa River. This was just amazing and we will never forget it. It became part of our top ten most memorable moments!

If we hadn’t other plans already arranged we would have definitely stayed for longer. It was a great experience and we felt loved and as if we were family. It was a pleasure working with them and we won’t forget you.
..And… we will be back!!! :)
Hasta pronto! (Victoria and Javier, Argentina)
