Are you passionate about animal welfare, veganism, and spirituality?
Call for Artists: Bring Your Creative Vision to Our French Vegan Sanctuary and Spiritual Retreat

Our French vegan spiritual animal sanctuary nestled in the picturesque Limousine countryside is calling for volunteers! We're a heaven for handicapped dogs and cats living their best life on our beautiful farm. Whether you're fully vegan, exploring vegan spirituality, or just keen to help, your beliefs and all faiths are warmly welcomed in our inclusive community. We are extending a special invitation to artists from all disciplines to join us in a unique collaborative project that merges art with activism in a beautiful, natural setting.

As a volunteer, you'll dive into a variety of nurturing tasks. From preparing nutritious vegan meals to engaging in light garden work like weeding, and even laundry specifically for the animals, your help will bring comfort and joy to their lives. It's not just about the work; it's about the connection, the peace, and the spiritual fulfillment you'll find in serving those who need it most.

Join us in creating a loving, compassionate environment for our animals. If you're ready to make a difference and find a deeper connection to vegan and spiritual principles, we would love to hear from you. Let's make the world a kinder place together, one happy tail wag at a time!

    Who we're looking for:
    • Those who love animals and are committed to their care and wellbeing, especially handicapped animals.
    • Anyone eager to live in a community that values veganism, spirituality, and environmental stewardship.
    • Individuals with skills in fencing, building, or renovating.
    • Volunteers passionate about gardening and sustainable living.

    Creative Opportunities Await:

    • Art Walls: We are providing expansive building walls as your canvas to bring the stories and voices of our animal residents to life. These large-scale murals will serve as a powerful visual testament to the sanctuary’s mission and the beauty of compassion.
    • Art Forest: Imagine an immersive art forest where your sculptures, installations, and land art can reside among the trees, creating a contemplative space for visitors to reflect on the connection between humans, animals, and the environment.
    • Voice of the Voiceless: Through your art, you have the opportunity to express the voice of animals and spread the message of equality and peaceful coexistence. We're looking for art that inspires change and celebrates the spirit of veganism.

If you're ready to contribute your skills and heart to a project that makes a real difference, we would love to hear from you. Join us in creating a sanctuary where every animal is cherished, and every volunteer experience is meaningful.

    What we're Working On:

    • Animal Care and Gardening: We seek help in caring for our handicapped animals and in our garden. Whether you have a green thumb or experience in animal care, your contribution will be invaluable.
    • Fencing Projects: To safeguard our current and future residents, we're planning to install additional fencing around the property. This will help us create secure areas for chickens, goats, sheep, and other animals we aim to rescue.
    • Renovation Work: A small building on our premises requires renovation to transform it into a cozy, safe haven for more cats. We're looking for volunteers with building and renovation skills to assist in this project.
    • Infrastructure Development: To accommodate rescued chickens, goats, sheep, and other animals, we need to establish a sturdy and functional infrastructure. This includes shelters, feeding stations, and comfortable living spaces.

And what We Offer for Artists:
    • Inspiration in Every Corner: Situated in the serene beauty of the French countryside, our sanctuary offers endless inspiration for your creative work. From the gentle residents you’ll meet to the tranquil landscapes, every aspect of the retreat is a muse waiting to be discovered.
    • Community and Collaboration: Join a community of like-minded individuals passionate about animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and creative expression. Collaborate with other artists and the sanctuary staff to create art that makes a statement.

    What we offer:

    • A Monthly Vegan Food Budget: We understand the importance of nourishing food while volunteering. That's why we provide a monthly vegan food budget of €250 to our volunteers, ensuring you have delicious and ethical meals during your stay.

    • Artists passionate about animal rights, veganism, and environmental issues.
    • Creatives skilled in mural painting, sculpture, installation art, or any form of visual art that can convey powerful messages.
    • Individuals inspired by nature and the stories of our animal residents, eager to translate these into impactful artworks.
Be Part of Something Bigger: This is an invitation to be part of a sanctuary where your art contributes to a larger narrative of compassion, healing, and awareness. Your work here will not only enhance the sanctuary's environment but also engage visitors, inspiring them to think deeply about their relationship with all living beings.
