Description
We are a four people mixed Italo-Belgian family.
A 10-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl who go to primary school.
In general, the children come back from school around 16h00.
In our family we speak two languages (French and Italian) and we would like to improve our English.
Our guest person will have to try to establish contact in English with the children who study it at school but are beginners, play with the kids.
We would have a native or nearly native english speaker, who speaks English to our children naturally with games, conversations, daily life at home ... and help us a little with the daily chores.
She will be another member of our family.Types of help and learning opportunities

The person who will be available to come could learn about a mixed Italian-Belgian culture. She can discover the surroundings of Brussels or the city in less than 30 minutes by metro.
We live in a small town close to Brussels city - Vilvoorde. It is a calm place and not too crowded.
You will enjoy causal life style outside of the big city with parks around.
The connection to any cities in Belgium is easy.Projects involving children

Help
We are looking for a person to come and help us with the children: e.g. prepare children in the morning, drop them off to the bus stop (7 min. by foot), pick them up from the bus stop after school, give them a small snack and set up some quiet time for the homework.
My preference goes to people with proven enthusiasm for being around children: our children are very active and they like sport. Obviously I also expect you to get involved in the daily routine/household chores the way you would do in your own home (that'll be nothing heavy ).
It might be useful to know that you can always count on our presence, so no need to prepare meals if you do not like to do so. This said, they are both in school until around 4:00, so during the day you are welcome to enjoy your free time. The house is very quiet if you need to study.
Sometimes we do smartworking, sometime we go to the office.
Routine of the day:
The children get up at 6.30 am and have the school bus at 7.30 am (it takes 7 minutes to get there on foot).
We have a short breakfast with coffee or bread but the guest can have a leisurely breakfast after the bus.
For lunch, the guest has to take care of their own meals as we only eat a small sandwich in a hurry.
The evening meal is very simple.
The children go to bed around 9 p.m.
After this time our family will be quiet.Languages
