Description
I'm Rosa (31), a Dutch writer who after years of traveling over the world (from Australia to Brazil and Africa) found herself a beautiful piece of paradise, 10 minutes from the South Western Algarve, Portugal. Just 5 min from Aljezur!
A little forest filled with native trees & strong biodiversity with a tiny house, caravan and shed. Together with my crazy & sweet puppy Jambu we live in our off grid forset of less than half a hectare. We love to share this magical paradise and make it to an oase with more veggie gardens, hang out spots, treehouse etc.
We love to go to the beach, swim, run, skate (I organize surf skate events!), surf, camp and work on the land and enjoy this beautiful part of the world.
PS. It's very good to have your own car or vehicle here. In Portugal in general, but it gives you the freedom to go to the beaches and town. A bicycle will bring you in 17 min to Aljezur town.

The 6,5 meter caravan has just been renovated into a beautiful space all for yourself. It has a deck, double bed, livingroom & kitchen. There's a compost toiler & the shower is on it's way (we use water bottles/ shower bags for now!). I'll be providing with fresh veggies, fruits & grains & coffee.
The land is beautiful and just needs a bit of love to make it into a paradise, all ideas and input are welcome. I love you to feel at home, take time to join on skates, hikes and surfes and balance it with some hours of work on the land.

Help
As I'm by myself with my dog (who unfortunately isn't a builder) and still don't have a lot of experience in building, off grid living & gardening (learning a lot already!) we could really use some help in projects like building, carpentry, gardening, pruning, making cozy spaces, building platforms, an outside kitchen etc. I'd love to find someone open minded (or two if one has their own vehicle) with experience in building or gardening to create more nice communal spaces 🤗.

My place is 5 min drive from Aljezur, 9 min to the closest beach (where you can do the Fisher Man Trail, 20 min to Arrifana (surf beach), 30 min to Monchique (most beautfil hikes) but also my land is the start of different hikes. So much to do! Having your own car is needed.

I have a lovely spacious caravan with lots of space to work. On purpose I made the caravan in lighter colors, so it helps you (at least me!) to work more productively :) There's 5G network, no WiFi.

There's a straight parking spot on my driveway for a motorhome!
