  My name is Kontxi, I live in Bilbao, in a single-family house divided into 3 apartments. My brother lives downstairs, my mother on the next floor, and my house is on the two top floors, which I share with my 12-year-old son Joel, who is with me every other week.
  
  The house is located on the slope of Mount Artxanda, with beautiful views of the entire city and direct access to a large wooded area just behind it. It takes us between 15 and 20 minutes to walk to the old town and less than 10 minutes by bicycle. Bilbao is a small city where everything is very close. The sea, the nearest beach, is about 20 minutes away by car with easy access by public transport.
  
  We decided to try this experience because we need help with the maintenance of the house (painting the terrace railing, varnishing a window, painting two rooms...) and the garden (cleaning, care, planting...).
  
  Both Joel and I love welcoming people into our home, getting to know them, sharing... In addition to the help, we value the experience itself of hosting and welcoming a new person into our home, trusting that we can both benefit greatly from it.
  
  As for food, my son and I eat everything except gluten. We enjoy cooking, trying new recipes, and take special care in preparing delicious and nutritious meals. If you enjoy cooking, it could also be a way to help around the house.
  
  My offer does not include meals, although you would have access to the kitchen, and I would also love for us to share recipes and eat together on some occasions.
  
  I am very flexible with work schedules and value the autonomy of the person to organize themselves with the tasks we agree upon.

  Me llamo Kontxi, vivo en Bilbao, en una casa unifamiliar, dividida en 3 viviendas, abajo vive mi hermano, en el siguiente piso mi madre y en los dos últimos pisos está mi casa, que comparto con mi hijo Joel de 12 años, que está conmigo una semana sí y una semana no.
  
  La casa está situada en la ladera del monte Artxanda, con preciosas vistas a toda la ciudad y a la vez con acceso directo a un amplio espacio de monte arbolado justo detrás. Tardamos entre 15 y 20 minutos en llegar al casco antiguo andando y menos de 10 minutos en bicicleta. Bilbao es una ciudad pequeñita donde todo está muy a mano. El mar, la playa más cercana está a unos 20 minutos en coche con fácil acceso en transporte público.
  
  Nos animamos a probar esta experiencia porque necesitamos ayuda con el mantenimiento de la casa (pintar la barandilla de la terraza, barnizar una ventana, pintar dos habitaciones...) y del jardín (limpieza, cuidado, plantar...).
  
  Tanto a a Joel como a mí, nos gusta mucho recibir a gente en casa, conocer, compartir.... Es decir, además de por la ayuda, valoramos la experiencia en sí de acoger y recibir a una persona nueva en casa confiando en que podemos aportarnos mucho mutuamente.
  
  En cuanto a la alimentación, mi hijo y yo comemos de todo menos gluten. Nos gusta cocinar, probar recetas nuevas, Ponemos especial cuidado en preparar alimentos ricos y a la vez nutritivos y sanos. Si te gusta cocinar también puede ser una forma de ayudar en la casa.
  
  Mi oferta no incluye las comidas aunque por supuesto tendrías acceso a la cocina y también me encantaría que pudiéramos compartir recetas y comer juntas en algunas ocasiones.
  
  Tengo mucha flexibilidad con los horarios de trabajo y valoro la autonomía de la persona para organizarse con las tareas que acordemos.
  
  Cuéntanos tus intereses, estamos muy abiertas a llegar a un acuerdo con flexibilidad en cuanto a cómo podemos cooperar.

  Help

  "Between June 5th and 30th, we need help especially with cleaning and taking care of the garden, and some simple DIY tasks. I would also like a mural to be painted on one of the external walls of the house, I would provide the necessary
  
  The working time we ask for each day is about 3 hours, 5 days a week, in exchange for staying in the house. We are flexible with schedules... We can discuss to organize. We regret not being able to include meals, that would be on your own, but we would love to share the kitchen and meal times together...
  
  Tasks we need help with:
  
  Cleaning and caring for the garden and beautifying a neglected part of the garden.
  The terrace railing, which is made of iron, is starting to rust, it needs sanding, applying rustproof paint, and painting. Painting two rooms and small repairs in the house.
  There is also a wooden window that needs sanding and varnishing.
  
  And help with house cleaning or cooking delicious dishes is always welcome...
  
  
  
  El tiempo de trabajo que pedimos cada día es de unas 3 horas, 5 días a la semana, como intercambio por la estancia en la casa. Por nuestra parte hay flexibilidad en cuanto a horarios... Hablamos para organizarnos. Lamentamos no poder incluir manutención, sería por tu cuenta, pero nos encantaría compartir cocina y momentos de comida...

  Limpieza y cuidado del jardín y embellecer una parte del jardín que está descuidada.
  La barandilla de la terraza, que es de hierro empieza a estar oxidada, necesita un lijado, aplicar anticorrosivo y pintar. Pintar dos habitaciones y pequeñas reparaciones de la casa.
  También hay una ventana de madera que necesita lijado y barnizado.
  
  Y siempre es bienvenida la ayuda en la limpieza de la casa o cocinando platos ricos...

  Accommodation

  You would have available a room with a single bed, about 10 square meters with a wardrobe, desk, internet access.... The bathroom is shared with Andrea. The room is in the attic, which provides some privacy.
  
  Our proposal includes accommodation and the use of the kitchen and common spaces (living room, terrace, garden...) dedicating approximately 3 hours a day, which could be grouped into a single day or several... We can adapt flexibly to your needs or preferences.
  
  In principle, maintenance is not included, unless we mutually agree on it, perhaps in exchange for more hours of work.
  
  Tendrías disponible una habitación con cama individual, de unos 10 metros cuadrados con armario, mesa de despacho, acceso a internet.... y un baño individual pequeñito con ducha. La habitación está en el ático, lo que proporciona cierta intimidad.
  
  Nuestra propuesta incluye el alojamiento y el uso de cocina y espacios comunes (salón, terraza, jardín...) dedicando un tiempo al día de 3 horas aproximadamente, que podrían agruparse en un solo día o varios... Nos podemos adaptar con flexibilidad a tus necesidades o preferencias.
  
  La manutención en principio no está incluida, salvo que lo acordásemos mutuamente quizá a cambio de más horas de trabajo.
