Description
Hi Workawayers! We are a family of four,Mary, Pat, Robert and Alex living in a quiet village just 10 minutes by train to Cork city, one of the largest cities in Ireland.
Types of help and learning opportunities
Babysitting and creative playCultural exchange and learning opportunities
We live in a lovely area just outside the city in Cork where there are plenty opportunities to meet new friends, experience the bustling city life of Cork and escape to the refreshing seaside nearby.
Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We are looking for help to mind our two young boys Robert (4 years old) and Alex ( 1 year old). We would like to find a calm and caring person to juggle the care of a curious one year old and a playful four year old! We would require someone to help feed, play with and supervise the children while Mary and Pat are in work. Robert will be attending primary school from September 2024.

Accommodation
You will have your own warm, comfortable bedroom. We provide all the food you require and you can make your own meals to suit your own tastes.
What else ...
There is a train within walking distance of our home which brings you to Cork city in ten minutes. From Cork there are links via other public transport for you to discover other parts of Ireland easily, such as Kerry, Dublin or Galway. You will usually have three full days off a week for you to enjoy however you would like. There is a gym and swimming pool nearby. We are connected to the lovely port of Cobh and the town of Midleton via train also.
