    Description

Hello everyone! We are happy to introduce our eco friendly lodge. We started a Cozy and ecologically bamboo lodge, directly sited at the bank of the Rapti River. A place covered with heaps of trees, blue skies and endless possibilities.

It’s a place where people can meet fellow conscious travelers or relax and find yourself some alone time. There is good French press coffee, Nepal's 1st craft beers on tap and seasonal fresh juices available, which will taste even more better while watching the fabulous sun nestling down. Occasionally you'll also see a rhino going for its daily walk on the other side of the river or beautiful birds flying by and Off course Morgan (Croc) busking on the bank right next to lodge.

We are proud to offer a unique and tranquil accommodation for conscious travelers. Our property boasts 1 single bedroom, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bamboo tower room, and a charming bamboo tree house, all surrounded by stunning natural beauty. We also offer 2 shared bathrooms, 1 outdoor shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy sitting area overlooking the riverbank. We have welcomed many happy traveler so far and are thrilled to be a part of their journey."

Our establishment is staffed by a team of 7 locally paid employees, each with a specific role to play in providing the best possible experience for our guests. Our team consists of 2 Chefs, 1 Kitchen Helper, 2 Waiters, and 1 Housekeeper, all of whom work together to ensure the smooth running of our operations."

We started this project in late August 2018. Since we’ve been able to successfully run for five years already, Now we are also focusing on our restaurant and serving quality food and drinks were actually a great approach, as people are always looking for new and exciting places to eat and drink. Plus, the wood fire pizza and a variety of cocktails differentiate us from others and attract new customers.

As we looking forward with our expansion plans, it's important to stay up to date with the latest trends and industry developments. Additionally, providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene will be key to keeping our customers happy and loyal. And that’s where we are looking for volunteers here to be part of the family to interact with our guests, help us with gardening, landscaping, design, website, sharing creative ideas and making sure everything going smooth and well while we would be here and there and everywhere with expansion.

For a fair exchange we request workawayers to be part of our team for 4-5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with 2 days off per week to allow for exploration and social integration. This is a common approach to work exchange programs and helps to ensure a balanced experience for both the host and the Workawayer.

The languages we speak together are English and Nepali. We would like to help you learn Nepali, as far as this can be involved into the other activities. And we love to meet new people from all over the world.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Basically, we would be staying & working on our small area near the bank with people from all over the world! There is no other way than having an exchange of cultures.

Sharing our knowledge of how to open and run a community might also be interesting to you, and we're more than happy to guide you if you're interested in running your own project.

At least we try to create consciousness among the travelers who visit our place, because of the current elephant safari's which are still frequently booked by tourists, we try to help people get more in touch with their surroundings and nature. People tend to go for the easier way of booking a jeep safari, instead of going for a jungle walk. By going back to basic and create amazing things from scratch you'll develop your practical skills.
These days we run non-stop around the clock, dividing our attention among millions of things, constantly checking our watches and scrambling for more time. To create things with your bare hands and by simple methods, you'll get in touch again with natures products and beauty. Additionally Dharmik has a lot of knowledge about the wildlife in this area, with the focus on bird-spotting. So gaining more knowledge in these expertise is what we can try to offer you.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

This lush valley of Chitwan is a magical place of wildlife promised land; where dense forests and brilliantly colored grasslands contrast vividly with a dazzling backdrop of snowy Himalayan peaks.

It's an example of ecological successions. Once inhabited by over 11,000 people, the Old Padampur area along with the abandoned farmlands, irrigation canals etc, has become a prime habitat for rhinoceros. Now wildlife sighting is more frequent during the annual grass cutting season in January.

Also, thousands of migratory birds arrive to join the residential birds providing bird watchers with a spectacular view of a variety of birds.

A visit to crocodile breeding center at Kasara (park headquarter), an elephant breeding center at Khorsor near Sauraha, various safaris such as jungle walking, canoeing, (jeep safari), tower night stay on forest, Chitwan hill trek, birding, 20,000 lake biking etc. etc. can be very rewarding and educative.

All these activities depending upon the level of adventure and interests, one can participate in a variety of activities.
