    Description

    Dear workawayers,

We are Sanne (44) and Marcel (52). A dutch couple living their dream in one of the most beautiful places in France. Here you can see more stars then you can imagine, hear foxes play and owls hunt at night. Here you can enjoy the silence, while birds of prey are gliding above the fields.
We came here to start a shamanic retreat centre. We give several retreats a year focusing on personal healing and getting in contact with nature.
Besides our business we are busy becoming self sustainable and living in harmony with nature as much as possible.

All the help needed is for private projects. You will not be working on any projects related to our business.

We like to welcome you in our own little paradise.

    Help

We need help with all kinds of tasks around the house and on the field, including:
    - maintenance of fields and forest
    - chopping wood for the fire places (main house and gîte). We mainly use fallen trees from our own land.
    - barn cleaning and renovation
    - building a chicken run
    - harvesting the blue berries, plums, kiwis and chestnuts. And making all kinds of products with it.

And if this list is done... Don't worry, there's always something else to do...

You will be staying in our gîte depending on availability and there is always plenty of room to put up a tent. The gîte has a double bed and two single beds on the open second floor. On the first floor there is a small living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. When you prefer a tent (with view!), there is the possibility of a shower tent and a compost toilet in a tent, or you can use our bathroom.
Meals will be together, but there is also the possibility to cook your own meal.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Our little village is about 30 minutes drive away from the capital of the Cantal, Aurillac. Other nice places in the area to visit are Montsalvy, Entraygues, Espalion, Estaing, Conques.
We can drive you to places, but not every day. There is also some public transportation sometimes once or twice a day, but not very frequently.

When you are travelling by public transport, we can pick you up at the Aurillac train/bus station.

There is an official cycling route of about 130km going through the village.
And there are many beautiful hikes in the area.
