    Description

We are a collective of people organising regenerative and cultural actions & events on our land and bio region.

Our project is built around the pillars of permaculture, and focuses on:
    - Regenerating our land and building a self sustainable lifestyle through reforestation, organic gardening, and building with natural materials (wood, etc.).
    - Creating events (festivals, workshops & retreats) to learn together with our community, provide a safe space for all to heal and grow, and celebrate life.

Our project is non commercial, with most activities focusing on giving back to the land and the community.

The project started in summer 2021 and is still in its early days, but full of ambition and dreams. Our core team is made up of five people in their late twenties: we are project managers, builders and 'tree-geeks'.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You'll be living on our beautiful peninsula, a 10ha land nested in the heart of the Mira river close to Odemira, Alentejo (Portugal). There are between 4-8 people living on the land, forming a beautiful, small community of people (mainly in their late 20's / early 30's). We live independently yet spend a lot of time working and living together.
You'll get to be part of a beautiful project and will be exposed to a the network of our bio-region, full of inspiring artisans, creators, artists.

We're looking for people to join our family for between 2 weeks and one month, and provide support with: carpentry and wood work, organic gardening, reforestation, house management (cooking and cleaning), and any other tasks that might be needed to support the project. At the moment, we're specifically looking for people keen to support us in managing small & large events (workshops, conferences, regeneration festivals).
