    Description

We have just enjoyed hosting our first au pair and really enjoyed having someone join our family. We are a lovely family living in a large house and estate in rural Scotland. We run a farm with sheep and several properties. At home we have four ponies, two dogs and chickens and a large garden. Our three girls are 7, 6 and 5. The oldest two are at school and the youngest is at nursery.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We live in a rural area and are culturally British. You will learn to speak English well in our house and hear the Scottish accent outside the house. You will experience our way of life, our taste in food and hobbies as we live in large house at the centre of the community. You will learn about the nature and plants and animals that live in our area of the world. You will have the opportunity to explore Scotland. We are an hour from Edinburgh, Dundee and the Highlands so you will have lots of Scottish adventures on your doorstep.

    Help

We are looking for someone who is happy to get involved in all aspects of our lives from childcare, cooking, tidying, cleaning. The children like making and doing things, going for walks, bike rides, riding their ponies. We like eating good healthy food from scratch - soups, salads, stews etc. We often have guests to stay so there are different people coming and going through the house.
