    Description

My name is Christa, I'm a German who fell in love with Zimbabwe since 1985. Since two years I run with my team a very individual ART lodge in Zimbabwe. We are still small and on our way to grow, so we have currently 2 fulltime workers. A wonderful Couple, Unity and Oliver. Unity is responsible for the houskeeping and the food. Oliver maintains the house and the garden. On part time we have Tawanda who helps me organizing guests and marketing the lodge. As a freelancer our Tour guide Praymore is offering tours around the Eastern Highlands. Located in the heart of the beautiful city Mutare, our Backpacker is the starting point for many wonderful excursions to the Eastern Highlands. Whether pure nature with breathtaking sunsets or immersion in the art, music and culture of the Shona People - the hostel takes you on a journey of discovery into African nature and culture. We are working together with lots of Artists, and we have an Event once a month with different local Artists. Our guests are international backpackers, adventurous and young-at-heart travelers, but also local people who love our art style lodge. Well known for healthy, homemade food, special individual care to feel home away from home and a familiar atmosphere, we are there for our guests whenever are needed. We offer tours around the eastern Highlands with Praymore our tourist guide.

Myself I run also a NON profit organization with a kindergarten, little school and women cooperative in a nearby township.
