    Description

We have a 16 hectare organic farm by the sea in Lagos, Portugal. We need help with:

Fruit trees, vegetable garden, chickens, goats, sheep, farmyard birds and animals.

I am looking for a person or people to stay 6-12 months+ with the following experience:

    - Fruit trees
    - Irrigation
    - Growing vegetables
    - Farm animals
    - Construction

    Ideally with an interests in:

    - Permaculture
    - Soil regeneration
    - Orchards
    - Goats and sheep

Our main activity is growing over a thousand fruit trees farm animals and vegetables.

Our aim is to be as self-sufficient as possible and farm in a morally responsible manner, placing value on our environment above profit. We are situated on the river and only 3km from the beach in Lagos. Available nearby amenities include boating, kiting, surfing, fishing. The site has water from a well and beautiful river and sea views. Our farm is 8 km from the amenities of Lagos City and 2.5km from the village facilities of Odiáxere. It’s on the banks of the estuary of the Ria d´Ódiaxere and 2km from Alvor lagoon, which is a magnet for kite surfers. It is quiet, surrounded by nature, fresh air, wild olives, an estuary. Activities include wild swimming, fishing, and gathering shellfish in the river. This location is good for water activities, surfing, kite surfing, walking and cycling with a new Via Verde (Green Route) to Lagos.
