Description
Hello there. We are Stefan and Corinne originally from Switzerland, running a small Campsite in southern Lapland since 2018. The campsite is surrounded by pure nature and situated directly at the river Ångermanälven.
Here some of our main projects projects for this summer:
- renovating a guesthouse.
- builing a greenhouse.
- starting a little vegetable garden.
- preparing firewood for winter.
- clearing out an old workshop that is filled with all sorts of stuff and needs to be divided from trash to still useful stuff.
In general there is always a lot of renovating, fixing, painting and building to do, but you will not be involved in our daily business on the campsite.
In return we provide food and living.
Your day here will usually start around 10am and end around 4 or 5pm (depending on your lunch break). Two days of the week you are off.

Your benefit here is to spend some time in nature in a rather layed back and easygoing environment. Last summer we had volunteers from Germany, Holland, France, Spain and Switzerland, but for communication we spoke mainly English. So it is not only a place to meet new people from all over the world, it is a also a good place to practice your English.

You will stay in our guesthouse which includes a little kitchen, that you share with other volunteers. But you will have your own room.
What else ...
We dont have any night- or city life up here, but a lot of nature where you can relax down at the beautiful river, walk in the forest, sit at the campfire with other volunteers, and of course fishing. If you like to fish, you are most definitely in the right place here. We also have a boat that you can use.
You can also go for a day trip to the closest town Vilhelmina. The Inlandsbanan (a Train that runs during summer season) stops here at our own little trainstation.A little more information
