    Description

We are a remote organic farm stay by a mega lake in the middle of a tribal belt. Me & husband have created this space along with the local community to share a experience in the midst of nature. Our self funded NGO has been active in this region during various activities (from health camps to social entrepreneurship). We live & run a farm stay too. We would love to have like minded individuals to not only help us operate this space but also take it further in building cottage industry along with the local community.

We are located far far away from the buzz of city life. We are surrounded by raw nature & beautiful hamlets. Its the pure rural life of norther Maharashtra which you can experience which still hasn't been polluted or corrupted. We are located by the mega lake and surrounded by lot of hills & mountains which have lot of trekking trails. There are different tribal communities and there is a lot to learn & experience from their way of living & celebrating with them their various festivals. Monsoon is heavy out here & hence equally beautiful. We see tremendous potential in this region in terms of female empowerment & social entrepreneurship. Which is sole reason why we left our city life & move here to explore the same.

  • Help

    Help

We would need help primarily in taking care of the overall farm stay. Connect with the guests & our team and to see the smooth operations. Help us in the farm if needed, DIY projects, art & brainstorm with us to create new ideas in the space of social entrepreneurship. Sometime we make cold process soaps or produce honey. Teach/train the locals in the skill/art the individual has obtained. Social media or marketing techniques. Basically the individual can select his field of interest & liking to help us with. Its perfectly fine if you are not comfortable with any particular task :)

    Accommodation

In total there are three cottages. One is occupied by us, which is also our studio & workspace. Other 2 are for the visiting guests. There is another spacious earthy cottage (aprox 20X20Ft) along with attached washroom & kitchen which can comfortably accommodate 2 guests. Food for everyone is prepared at the cafe.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We are looking for individual who are genuinely interested in exploring & working in this space and not someone who considers this as a holiday. A long term association would be much appreciated. There are lot of hikes & trekking routes around. Weekend visit to Nashik for stocking up or visiting vineyards. As we are remotely hence located local transport options are few. If the individual is confident about driving he can use our vehicles or travel with us.

No party types or into alcohol or any form of drugs.
