    Description

Here at The Guesthouse Cafe we cater for backpackers and holiday goers looking for a more chilled out, simple way of life. By day we serve food and drinks in our relaxing cafe that is also home to many boardgames and books that we encourage guests to use. The evenings play host to our weekly pub quiz, movie nights and other games and entertainment.

The owners, Chaz and Pip, aim to create a homely space that welcomes people from all walks of life and immerses them into the wonderful community of M’pai Bay.

M'pai Bay offers a harmonious blend of tourism and local life, where both groups can appreciate the beauty of the bay and contribute to its sustainable development.

We currently employ two local Khmers, one is our housekeeper and the other a handyman. They are a huge asset to our team.

    * As we ask for volunteers to stay a minimum of 3 weeks we would like to point out that it’s incredibly easy to apply for an additional 30 days on top of your current tourist visa. We are able to do this from our village. So please keep this in mind if you are concerned about only having a week left to travel and explore the rest of the country *

Boats to M’pai run regularly from the port of Sihanoukville, which is a 2.5 hour drive from Phnom Penh. From Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville there are many affordable transport options via minibus. If you prefer to take the scenic route you can take the train.
