    Description

I am a filmmaker working between the U.S. and France, currently living in the countryside in Maryland near Washington D.C.. I grew up in South America and Asia, speak multiple languages and am interested in film, photography, languages, hiking, qi gong, literature, poetry, cooking, and music.

This is a rural area of forests, rivers, and lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, foxes, birds). You would mainly be taking care of a sweet english golden retriever, and also planting flower seeds and bulbs and doing some cooking. It is also possible to join us for qi gong sessions if you want.

There is a large house in a 4 acre piece of land with large fields and woods behind the house with walking trails. It is located about 20 minutes drive from Washington D.C., and 5 minutes from a 500 acre bird sanctuary and river park.

The main house has one floor which you would have to yourself where you can stay comfortably and have your privacy. You would have your own bathroom with bath and shower on that floor, along with central heating plus a woodstove and various video streaming devices.

    Help

The main help we need is taking care of our dog Nico who is a 12 year old english golden retriever. It is difficult for me to walk him now so we are looking for help with taking Nico on 15 minute walks three times a day.

You would have plenty of time to yourself to explore Washington D.C. and other nearby towns. I have worked before in Europe with workawayers and look forward to sharing this beautiful place with other travelers.
