Description
We are living in our art and nature place as a family and community. We have guests here who sleep and hike, who record their album or make an artist residency. We are artists and hosts and parents of twins (born 2022) (patchwork with two a bit elder children half the time).

You can benefit from our big house where we mix private and public life. There are around ten people living here (including several workawayers), we even have our brilliant workawayer-manager Damian. We live in the woods and mountains of Switzerland, we are away from everything but the trainstation is just a ten minutes walk away (as well as several mountain tops are just some hiking hours away and the view is breathtaking). We have an active record and photostudio and are starting our own workshop and pottery to build anything we need. If you are interested in our artistic work, we (Bujar and me, lili) gladly show you what we do. But you need to tell us!

This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
At the moment we're looking for people who are experienced with child care, cooking, making (music) videos, writing short stories, pottery, carpentry. Does one or more of this apply to you? If so, please explain a bit what you experienced and we're happy to welcome you.
Of course, like everyone else, we're also searching for individuals who share similar values as ours and strive to live in a sustainable, environmentally-friendly and conscious way. For instance, we would like to find people who avoid planes when travelling short distances or just for short stays. But we take it from Epicureus – it's only sustainable as long it's joyful.
You don't help with the business activities since we do that and have employees for that.Languages

You will sleep in the attic, on the top of our house. In the low season you can have a room for yourself, in the high season you will share it with others in the cozy attic. It has windows, the view is nice, it's comfy but under the roof so if you're tall you can only stand straight in the middle of the room. Included in the stay are a self service breakfast, and then a lunch and a dinner that one of us cooks for everyone. We cook vegan and gladly teach you if necessary.
What else ...
You can hike to explore nature and take the train to explore the cities. You can also use the studio and workshop for your own projects, maybe you always wanted to record your music, write your own book ... - we can help you achieve that, tell us your dreams if you want :)

I was only supposed to stay 2 weeks but ended up staying 6 weeks! From the beginning I was welcomed by big smiles and friendly faces. I quickly found great friends among the volunteers and the family.
Other than the great people, the beautiful forest and mountains kept me there. Having daily walks through mossy forests and swimming… read more

Thank you for this time. It was my second stay at the Brünig-Naturfreundehaus and i enjoyed every day. Taking care if the babys was wonderfull and I liked listeninig to your thoughts about growing up and being human.
