  Description

  We are a "young" 62-year-old couple in pre-retirement, passionate about nature, animals and country life. We settled in the heart of the Périgord Vert, in the Double forest and we would need "arms" to help us restore and build small wooden shelters for our horses. We have both traveled a lot and speak English. We have a small independent accommodation to welcome you. We like to meet and discuss, around a good table (here we have very good local products!) and share our know-how (Didier works with wood and iron).
  
  
  Nous sommes un "jeune" couple de 62 ans en pré retraite, passionné de nature, animaux et vie à la campagne. Nous nous sommes installés en plein coeur du Périgord Vert, dans la forêt de la Double et nous aurions besoin de "bras" pour nous aider à restaurer et construire des abris en bois pour nos chevaux. Nous avons beaucoup voyagé tous les deux et parlons anglais. Nous avons un petit logement indépendant pour vous accueillir. Nous aimons rencontrer et discuter, autour d'une bonne table (ici nous avons de très bons produits locaux!) et partager notre savoir faire (Didier travaille le bois et le fer).

  We have both traveled a lot and speak English. We have a small independent accommodation to accommodate the best. We like to meet and discuss, around a good table (here we have very good local products!) and share our know-how (Didier works with wood and iron). We like to cook, play cards and various board games, billiards, etc. And of course we go horseback riding, with you if you wish, even if you are not a rider, we can initiate you!
  
  Nous avons beaucoup voyagé tous les deux et parlons anglais. Nous avons un petit logement indépendant pour accueillir au mieux. Nous aimons rencontrer et discuter, autour d'une bonne table (ici nous avons de très bons produits locaux!) et partager notre savoir faire (Didier travaille le bois et le fer). Nous aimons cuisiner, jouer aux cartes et divers jeux de société, billard, etc. Et bien sûr nous balader à cheval, avec vous si vous le souhaitez, même si vous n'êtes pas cavalier, nous pouvons vous initier!

  Help

  Help with DIY and gardening. Lots outdoors. Cut wood, pass the brushcutter or help with the construction of small wooden shelters for animals, always accompanied by Didier to assist him.
  
  Aide au bricolage et jardinage. Beaucoup en extérieur. Couper du bois, passer la débroussailleuse ou aider à la construction bois d'abris pour chevaux, toujours accompagné de Didier pour le seconder.

  Accommodation

  Independent 2-room accommodation with small kitchen, shower room, one double bedroom and one single bedroom. Heating and reversible air conditioning. We suggest taking, for example, lunch together and dinner independently. (food provided)

  Chauffage et clim réversible. Nous proposons de prendre par exemple le repas du midi ensemble et le dîner indépendamment. (nourriture fournie)

  What else ...

  We are in the countryside, in the forest of Double, quiet, but 8 km from a small town with all shops and a train station which serves Bordeaux in 45 minutes! So a lot of leisure and sightseeing is possible here. We can of course take you by car to the station or go shopping, and show you around.
  
  
  Nous sommes en pleine campagne, dans la forêt de la Double, au calme, mais à 8 km d'une petite ville avec tous commerces et une gare qui dessert Bordeaux en 45 mn! Donc beaucoup de loisirs et visites sont possibles ici. Nous pouvons bien sûr vous emmener en voiture à la gare ou faire des courses, et vous faire découvrir les environs.
