    Accommodation

Volunteers who wish to take part in our projects will live in our house, in the centre of Chegutu, 5 minutes by car from the school (we provide transportation to and from) and each will have their own room and bathroom with shower and hot water. Our house consists of two independent houses with a small garden, a laundry room, a chapel where we pray, a common area with TV and dining room and a kitchen. Five people live in our house so there is never a shortage of company! Everything you need can be easily found thanks to the very favourable location in which we are situated with shops, shopping centres, pharmacies and supermarkets. No financial contribution is required for board and lodging, we will be happy to welcome and accommodate you in the most welcoming manner possible.

We will provide for all the meals.

    What else ...

During free time during the week it is possible for those who wish to do so to visit the centre of our town, contemplate the magnificent sunsets that our land offers, read a book, cook, watch films or play board games. Any type of activity is welcome in our community. On the other hand, at weekends, it is possible to organise out-of-town excursions such as visiting tourist spots: Chinhoyi caves, safaris etc..

The people in Zimbabwe are very peaceful, which is why our area is very quiet, free of social strife or fighting. Also with regards to health, our area is not very prone to disease or contamination, in fact no vaccines are required to travel to our country.

As for your arrival at the airport (we recommend Harare airport), we will personally pick you up and bring you back on the dates you have chosen for your stay with us.
The visa can be made and paid for directly at the airport and will be valid for 30 days.

We strongly advise all travellers to have US dollars as currency and to exchange them before travelling.
