    Description

We are a small intentional community on 200 acres in the Gatineau Hills of Quebec. The community is in it's early days of cocreation and would love to meet some people who want to learn and share interests. One of the founder's background is timber frame building with natural sustainable building systems (clay straw, straw bale). So far we have built the workshop, process kitchen, dance hall, wood mill and garden/orchard. Many interesting projects ahead to make space for newcomers. We intend to produce value added products as the land permits. We also have a small private lake for swimming and skating. Many trails have been created for walking and skiing/snowshoeing. Sharing circles and bonfires are common here. Working together to create something more aligned with the natural earth beings and Mother Earth herself. We are a non-smoking community.

    Help

We are hoping to connect with people that have some woodworking skills and would like to learn timber framing and natural building. We also are in the early stages of developing a food forest/garden and need gardeners that are willing to help and learn. We are practicing salvage logging in the forest (non-living trees) and milling the wood to use on the land. Our neighbor has horses for logging and we also use our small tractor.
