Description
My project is an eco cultural space, artist residency, and health vegan café in the process of birtging. It is a solo project, I am located in one of the most magical mountain towns in Mexico. I am looking for a volunteer or two who is invited to sleep upstairs in the studio, to help me with little tasks such as cleaning, taking care of my cat when I'm gone, deal with the carpenter or do varnish on furniture, and make adobe natural mixture of paint to paint the walls, carve a wooden sign, things like this. Knowledge in building / carpentry / adobe and natural building will be greatly apriciated. There is hot shower, chimney, and fully equipped kitchen.
The accommodation has a sleeping area with studio style mattress on the wood floor and is on the other side of my work studio. It is private in the night and mornings. I come some mornings around 11 - 12 to work. Until the Cafe opens it's pretty much private all day too except for the 3 - 5 times a week I will be there working on different projects.

There is a very interesting culture in a small Mexican village. They can learn Spanish, local foods and festivals, mushroom culture, mountain life.

They can travel to the forests, the waterfall, the river, go to the local markets, participate in temazcalli or other activities happening around here. There are collectivo taxis aveliable throughout the day to San Jose or miahuatlan. From there to a weekend at the beach is 3 hours ride.

At the moment the space does not yet have internet, yet it is possible to buy a local simcard that works pretty well in the area of this house. There might be advance to star link as the project advances and I will update.
