  We are a family that wants to learn English. We live in the center of the Czech Republic in Kolin. The location is very convenient - less than an hour drive or train ride to Prague, Kutná Hora, Pardubice, to the mountains (Krkonoše, etc.) - anywhere you want.

  We offer an opportunity to stay in a beautiful city in the middle of the Czech Republic, where you can get to know our culture, language and travel around the country.

  Help

  Primarily, we would like to talk with you and practice our English. Native speakers are welcome but we'll be happy for any guest that we can have a nice chat with. Your help in the household is appreciated but it's not the main goal of the invitation.

  We are a family (2 adults and our teenage daughter). She studies English at school and we started learning about two years ago. We're interested in practicing our speaking skills, helping you explore our country and learn more about yours.

  Accommodation

  You will have your own room in a family house with a garden in the centre of Kolín. You will share the bathroom, toilet and kitchen with us. From time to time we welcome cooking and eating together but won't be the case every day and meal.

  What else ...

  Thanks to the location it is easy to travel to either Prague or many other places of interest and sights. There is a good train and bus connection if you don't want to use a car and public transportation is not too expensive. During the weekends we can organize trips for you or with you depending on your preferences. Czech Republic is a great place for fans of history, natural sights and much more - maybe you'll learn mushroom hunting, cook "knedlíky" or just appreciate Czech beer;-)
