Description
Hello everyone, we are a bilingual (French and English) family (me Marco, my spouse Rebecca and our small daughter Dina).
I, Marco, use to own a vintage furniture shop in the Mile-End in Montreal. It got closed down by the owner of the building last year, so I moved all of my stuff to a new location to start a community project by the water in the country. I would like to developp a non profit organisation wich involves vintage furniture, vintage music studio and maybe a café.
My spouse, Rebecca, is a real estate appraiser. She started her own business and is very busy. However, she loves cooking and will feed us very well. She’s also the one who’s good at keeping us on schedule.
We have hosted about 30 volunteers in the past and we love meeting new people, different cultures, keeping busy and exchanging on various topics.Types of help and learning opportunities

If you come to our cottage, you will be surounded with trees. The commercial space is by a big river. There is also a river and a lake right next to our cottage (2 minute walk). You’ll be able to learn about quebec’s culture and eat traditionnal quebecois food. We can also teach you french or english. And I think we are a great stepping stone to Montreal because we have lots of connections. If you’re musicaly inclined, there’s many vintage instruments to play.
