Description
Hello! It's great to meet you. We share more of our daily life on Instagram. You can find us with the farm's name!
Founded in 2017 with the vision of building a community that lives directly from the land, this place brings together hospitality, regenerative agriculture, and community for rich experiences that connect everyone to nature.
This 8-hectare private farmland produces almonds, olives, 40+ varieties of fruit trees, and a large vegetable garden according to biodynamic and regenerative agriculture principles. Completely off-the-grid but easily accessible by train or a 90-minute drive from Barcelona, it features:
* 2 pools with springwater
* Farm-to-table dining
* No EMF exposure
* On-site water source with pH 7
Agriculture is at the heart of our project, and our goal is to feed our community directly from the land.
The project is run by Juan (Spanish) and Samantha (American). We have two children, Celeste (1) and Jan (10), one dog Kira, several cats, and chickens.Types of help and learning opportunities

Volunteers can expect to learn everyday from our team plus friends and teachers who come to share their knowledge. Volunteers will learn about the principles of biodynamic and regenerative agriculture as well as other techniques to regenerate the land like Paul Gautchi's Back to Eden techniques, how to make "Terra Preta" from the Amazon, the importance of the electrical conductivity in the land and much more...
We want to share all we've learned about living off the grid and creating a community of like-minded people! We will also share more about the hospitality side of the business.Help
We are experienced WorkAway hosts and have hosted volunteers for the last 7 years. Our main profile was deleted one year ago by accident which is why we do not have reviews on this page. I have shared some of the previous reviews below:
"I am really grateful for the opportunity of spending a few weeks in this beautiful place, a vegan heaven hidden away among the mountains of Catalonia. It was very enriching to become part of the unique community they are building on the healthy foundations of veganism, biodynamics, and the love of nature. I enjoyed the diversity of perspectives among the members of the community during the time I spent there as well as the interesting discussions we would constantly have. This is definitely a place that naturally encourages introspection, connection with nature, and the healthy sharing of different life approaches."
"The work was physically demanding at times but Juan is a great teacher. He explains now only how but why we do each task, which is very fulfilling! He was so clear about the concepts behind the farming practices and we are so grateful for everything which we learnt."
"We ate 3 organic, vegan meals together each day which were absolutely delicious as well as healthy. We felt super nourished from the great food, clean air and good vibes!"
"One of my favorite parts of volunteering was when we would get together almost every night around the fireplace and play guitar, sing and chat together."
Our farm is built and run on the love and sweat of a global community of conscious volunteers. We kindly ask that volunteers are 24 years old or older.
Following the principles of Workaway, volunteers contribute 5 hours of their time in exchange for room and board. In reality, we exchange so much more, from ideas to stories to magic moments on our land. We always have breakfast and lunch together as a community!

The volunteers sleep in a wooden cabin or in a glamping area. The cabin fits 4 people with a lofted double bed and bunk beds. It also has a private bathroom.
We eat three meal a day, at 8:30 a.m., at 2 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m. For us, food is medicine so all meals are organic, made with love, and enjoyed in community. We follow a mainly plant-based diet supplemented with eggs from our chickens and occasional meat dishes.What else ...
