Description
We are a couple in our early 50s with two teenage children living at home. We love travelling, music, the sea, good cooking... I am hoping to use some of my Easter break getting our garden and shed ready for the coming summer and doing some new planting. I need an extra pair of hands! Our home is on the edge of Tramore, a lively seaside town. It's a 15 minute walk from our house down the hill to the town and beach, and a bit longer coming back up! We are on the bus route from Waterford.
Types of help and learning opportunities
GardeningGeneral MaintenanceCultural exchange and learning opportunities
You can experience being in an Irish family and speaking English. Tramore is a vibrant seaside town and we can share our love for the area with you. My husband prepares a family meal each day - both vegetarian and non, and we eat and chat over dinner each evening. You are welcome to join us, or to use the kitchen independently. We have two teenage children living at home.

Help
I am looking for an extra pair of hands to help me get my garden and shed in shape over April! We have someone with us this week, and we have availability again from Saturday 13th April to Sunday 21st April (helping out Monday to Friday). The skills required are an enthusiasm to get things done and a willingness to dig and plant. The garden is a work in progress and I want to plant a hedge and put in new plants for this coming summer.

We have a bedroom downstairs with its own private shower room for use by a workawayer. It has a tv and kettle when you want some time to yourself. The family bedrooms are upstairs, so the downstairs room has an independent feel to it. You are welcome to join us for our evening meal, or we can work out times that you can use the kitchen if you prefer to prepare your own food.
What else ...
We live in Tramore, by the sea. You can enjoy the town and the coast, we have a bike you can use, and wetsuits for the cold water!
