  UPDATE! (FROM MARCH TO DECEMBER 2024): Here and now things changed a little in our daily lives. Joe is working on a cruise through Asia and Juana is living in Italy fulfilling her dream. We will not return to Mar del Plata until the end of the year.
  Bochi (Juana's mother) has stayed at the house to take care of the animals and live with our winter roommates (people who study or work in Marpla during the rest of the year and return to their hometowns in the summer).
  We prefer not to receive volunteers until our return, unless that person wants to share her stay in Mardel with Bochi.
  Bochi is a vital, energetic and very talkative 57-year-old woman. She cooks like the gods and she always has a story to share. She knows a lot about history, art, architecture, biology, philosophy, sociology and culture in general. Actually knows everything.
  She is a green hand, lover of animals and nature. With Bochi you can talk for hours about life, have beautiful maternal company and discover Mar del Plata in a different way.
  
  Hello everyone! We are a refuge for friends, for meetings and reunions located on the Atlantic coast, in the south, in the happy city of Mar del Plata. We are people connected to the same frequency, happy, with generous hearts, adventurous souls and free spirits! Citizens and friends of the world. 4 years ago we created this home and meeting point, with our own hands, using pallets and recycled wood, risking the certain for the uncertain to go after a dream and giving our best! This is how it was born: a foundation made of love, peace, teamwork, brotherhood and energy. We enjoy the simple things in life, sharing, nature and the outdoors to be-do everything and always be active, positive and giving our best! We speak Spanish, German and English. We are delighted to receive different people who wish to exchange experiences, knowledge, joys, gifts and talents with a good attitude, motivation and desire to be-do, and who want to enjoy life by the sea, with new friends, respect, tranquility and good vibes.   Hola a todos! Somos un refugio de amigos, para encuentros y reencuentros ubicados en la costa atlántica, en el sur de la feliz ciudad de Mar del Plata.
  Somos personas conectadas en una misma frecuencia, alegres, de corazones generosos, almas aventureras y espíritus libres! Ciudadanos y amigos del mundo.
  Hace 4 años creamos este hogar y punto de reunión, con nuestras propias manos, usando palets y madera reciclada, arriesgando lo cierto por lo incierto para ir detrás de un sueño y dando lo mejor de nosotros! Así nació Lombis Lodge, una base en el paraíso hecha a base de amor, paz, trabajo en equipo, hermandad y energía.
  Disfrutamos de las cosas simples de la vida, de compartir, de la naturaleza y el aire libre para ser-hacer de todo y del estar siempre activos, positivos y dando lo mejor!
  Hablamos español, alemán e inglés.
  Estamos encantados de recibir distintas personas que deseen intercambiar experiencias, conocimientos, alegrías, dones y talentos con buena actitud, motivación y ganas de ser-hacer además de que quieran disfrutar de la vida junto al mar, con nuevos amigos, respeto, tranquilidad y buenísima onda.   Help

  The projects that we will generally be working on in the Lodge (in the house) are in the garden (with the orchard, plant care and gardening in general), maintenance and collaboration in cleaning personal space and common spaces shared, with art creations in its different branches (we have a lot of space to expand with creativity) and small things that arise, there is always something to do. What we value most is the positive attitude, the desire to learn, to share and the good disposition. We like proactive, independent, adaptable, creative people who want to do their best. We also find it important that you enjoy interacting and connecting with different people, that you are responsible, committed and that you can function as a team, as well as being able to do things independently.
  
  Los proyectos en los que vamos a estar trabajando generalmente en el Lodge (en la casa) son en el jardín (con la huerta, el cuidado de plantas y jardinería en general), el mantenimiento y colaboración en la limpieza del espacio personal y espacios comunes compartidos, con creaciones de arte en sus distintas ramas (tenemos muuucho espacio para explayarse con creatividad) y pequeñas cosas que van surgiendo, siempre hay algo para hacer.
  Lo que más valoramos es la actitud positiva, las ganas de aprender, de compartir y la buena predisposición.
  Nos piace la gente proactiva, independiente, adaptable, creativa y con ganas de meterle con tutti.
  También nos parece importante que disfrutes de interactuar y conectar con distintas personas, qué seas responsable, comprometido y que puedas funcionar en equipo, como también ser capaz de hacer las cosas de manera independiente.

  Accommodation

  We live in a house made of stone, wood and incredible natural light. In the south of the city, in the neighborhood near Punta Mogotes. We share the house with travelers and people who come to see Mar del Plata, the Argentine sea and local life, especially in the summer. Here everything is fine™ For sleeping, we offer places in the shared room. We have perfect Wi-Fi, space to work, chill spaces, a good kitchen to inspire you, xl garden with a fireplace, big trees, interesting books, things to do crafts, musical instruments and all the services. The neighborhood is quiet and is so close to the beach and the forest.
  
  Breakfast is included, the rest of the meals are individual (most of the time we'll cook together)
  
  Vivimos en una casa de piedra, madera y una luz natural increíble. En el sur de la ciudad, por el barrio cercano a Punta Mogotes. Compartimos la casa con viajeros y personas que vienen a conocer Mar del Plata, el mar argentino y la vida local, sobre todo en época de verano.
  Acá todo es bien™ ese es nuestro lema y lo vivimos día a día.
  
  Para dormir, ofrecemos cama individual en la habitación compartida. La cama es triple y está hecha de europalets. La habitación es cómoda, espaciosa, tiene armario para que guardes tus pertenencias y está ubicada frente al baño principal.
  Tenemos wifi andando perfect, espacio para trabajar, espacios para estar chill o explayarse creativamente, una buena cocina para inspirarse, alto patio con fogón y mucho verde, libros interesantes, cosas para hacer manualidades, instrumentos musicales y todos los servicios. A los alrededores de la casa hay locales comerciales de todos los rubros, acceso a trasporte público y estamos super cerca de la playa y el bosque.

  In your free time you can do whatever you want, Marpla has multiple destinations and activities to suit each person and to make your experience happy, incredible. Water sports such as surfing and kitesurfing, exploring the southern beaches and their magic, walking through the forest, spending a sunny day in the mountains and in the Laguna de los Padres, eating seafood and rabas in the port, seeing sea lions and thousand of flora and fauna, flash it with the magnitude of the cliffs, taste the best alfajores in the country, the list is endless. We are here to share with you our way of life, how to get around the city, all the things you can experience in our beloved Mar del Plata.
  
  En el tiempo libre podes hacer lo que quieras, Marpla tiene múltiples destinos y actividades a gusto y piacere de cada uno y para hacer de tu experiencia en la feliz, increíble. Deportes acuáticos como surf y kitesurf, andar en skate en sarpados skatepark frente al mar, recorrer las playas del sur y su magia, pasear por el bosque, hacer un día de sol en las sierras, y en la laguna de los padres, comer mariscos y rabas en el puerto, ver lobos marinos y mil de flora y fauna, flashearla con la magnitud de los acantilados, degustar los mejores alfajores del país, conocer la noche y fiesta marplatense... la lista es infinita.   El WiFi anda perfect y no hay ningún tipo de problema con la conexión. Hay espacio para nómadas digitales. Enchufes y cables para notebook, tablet y celulares. Buena iluminación.

  En la casa tenemos una perra y una gata. Ambas son sociales con humanos y otros animales, y están esterilizadas. Para nosotros son un integrante más de la familia y los tratamos como tal. Esperamos lo mismo de aquellos que quieren venir con sus mascotas. Único requisito: amor, paz y respeto.
