    Description

We are a young family of 4. We have a 3 years old sunny boy and a 1.5yrs baby girl. We are living in Vienna, not far away from the city center, near the "Wiener Wald", the lungs of the city. Florian (German) is working as an engineer at a local startup, and a 'yogi'. Reka (Hungarian) is on maternity leave atm but tries to work on her own app for kids. She is a creative producer and always has some art and social projects aside. She would love to have a helping hand around the household to have more capacity for her projects and quality time for the kiddos. If you are interested, you could also participate in her projects (art workshops for refugees, fundraising, etc..).
We have a small garden and a huge community garden with chickens. Our neighbors are super open-minded awesome people and we have a small public pool at the end of our garden (with a sauna). We travel and hike a lot, and we love music festivals, theater, cinema, and extreme sports- but since we are parents, we just love to chill and every now and then going out a bit:)

There are many language schools around if you are interested in learning german. The Alps are also super close (in 1-1.5 hours you can reach the mountains- until the beginning of April you can still ski/snowboard) and you can use our bikes to discover the forests around or for sightseeing. Reka is a culture-lover, so she can show you the best exhibitions in town, or the local designer shops, and Florian is an expert in healthy nutrition and meditation- he would be happy to exchange, share his extensive library with you, or teach you to meditate.

Keep the 110 m2 flat clean on a daily basis (cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, vacuum cleaning, mopping up the floor, managing the laundry and waste, gardening, if you feel like it.)

Creative play with Bela (3) and Joy (1).

If I have any upcoming projects, brainstorm, help to fundraise, or manage them.

Cooking healthy lunch every evening or lunch.

I would need your help for 2-3 hours in the forenoon and 1-2 hours in the afternoon in general.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We have a 3-bedroom flat, you'd get our tiny guestroom (~13m2) with a double bed. It is quiet and the air is clean, and there is mineral water coming from the tap:)
Yes, you could take a shower every day in mineral water.
We have a relatively big living room that functions as a playground for the kids and as a dining room. We have no TV, but if you want, we can install one in your room. We would share the bathroom upstairs. (There are 2 Toilets and one Bathroom.)

    What else ...

You can visit workshops like "Krauterwanderung' (=collecting seasonal herbs or mushrooms in the local forests.)
The Schönbrunn Palace or the Klimt Villa is really close to us, but almost every attraction is accessible with our good old local "49 Strassenbahn":). The railway and underground are within 7 minute's walk distance, so Donau or even other cities are easily available from us. There are a few cafes around. Theater and concerts are really big here, I would recommend booking your tickets in advance. We drive to Budapest every now and then you'd welcome to come with us and visit local clubs/festivals and museums.
