    Description

    Hello and a nice day!
Thank you for reading your profile. The next months we have 2 different tasks we are searching help for.
Please note one takes place in in Brandenburg, approx. 1,5h away from Berlin and one takes place in Berlin!

The work we need help with (5 hours per day, 5 days a week):
1.) Suitable for 2 persons: We have a little old house in Brandenburg (Oderbruch: 1,5h drive away from Berlin). We have a lot to do in the house and big garden. We need help with the house (a lot of maintanaince and construction: building a fence, a terace, a door..) and we need help with the garden. We want to build a little gardenhouse.
If you have special talents please tell us.
2.) Suitable for 1 female person: in Berlin: Help with our daughter with Down Syndrom (15 years old, a lot of accompainment to school, to therapies, but also leisure activities, she understands some English you dont have to speak German necessarily) English conversation and help with school Englisch for our 17 year old daugher, help with hometasks like cleaning, cooking, garden work etc.

    Where do you stay:
1.) During your stay in the Oderbruch you would sleep in the house . The house has only wood heating. There is a very good WLAN. Sometimes you will also stay there alone in the house. It is a very little village surrounded with great nature. There is the possibility that you can visit Berlin by train (aprox 1,5 h away ). If we have a free bed you could sleep a night or so in our flat in Berlin.
2.) In Berlin you sleep in a room of your own (our cupbord is also in the room, so we have to enter from time to time). The flat is situated right in the middle of Berlin, near Museumsinsel, Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz. You are located between stations of subways and trams, citytrains and busses. Two cats are living in the flat, too. You can use the WLAN in our flat permanetly._

    Who are we:
We are a family of 4: Two wonderful daughters: One is 15 years old and has Down-syndrome the other one is 17 and we two: Silvian and Christiane. In addition 2 friendly cats live with us in the apartment. Both my husband and I are working professionally often from home.

We have no special diet, we just try to eat healthy food. In case that you are vegetarian we like to adjust during our stay:-)

In case you want to contact us: Please let us know to which position you are applying, your motivation/interests and expected travel dates with preferred duration of stay.
We are looking forward to read your message.

    With kind regards
    Silvian and Christiane
