Description
I am an American who has lived in Mexico for over 20 years. I live with my adolescent son and occasional short-term roomies. We form a cozy ecclectic family. I bought our house some years ago and have fixed it up quite a bit. It mostly just needs some light maintenance and gardening work.

Our house is conveniently located in the beautiful historic center of the city of Querétaro, close to major public transportation lines and cultural activities. I am a language teacher, so I could aid guests in their learning of Spanish.
Help
It depends on your abilities, interests, and talents.
Options for physical work around the house: House cleaning, painting, and wall stucco repair. Repotting, watering and weeding plants. Waterproofing the roof area. Light carpentry work (we have a small carpentry workshop in the house)--if you already have carpentry skills.Languages

We have a cozy guest bedroom with a single bed and closet. The bathroom right next to the room is occasionally shared with one other person. Some food may be shared, and guests may then help out with cooking or washing up. During the week, I go to bed early and wake up very early to go to work. That means that after 9pm there should be peace and quiet in the house.
What else ...
There is an international airport in Queretaro which is about a 40-minute taxi ride from the city center. There is (supposedly) Primera Plus bus service to and from the airport. There are two bus terminals in Queretaro. The main bus terminal (Terminal de Autobuses) has local bus service to the city center during the day. This bus terminal is about a 20-minute taxi ride from the city center, depending on traffic.
