  Hello, my name is Valentina, and I live in La Serena, just a block away from the beach, with my 85-year-old mother. We both enjoy traveling a lot. This region is truly beautiful, and we are confident that you will love it. La Serena, located in the Coquimbo Region of Chile, is a tourist destination rich in history, culture, and stunning natural landscapes, close to other wonderful and magical places like the Elqui Valley.   Hola, mi nombre es Valentina y vivo en La Serena, a solo una cuadra de la playa, junto a mi madre, quien tiene 85 años. Ambas disfrutamos mucho viajar. Esta región es realmente hermosa y estamos seguras de que te encantará. La Serena, ubicada en la Región de Coquimbo en Chile, es un destino turístico cargado de historia, cultura y sorprendentes paisajes naturales, muy cerca de otros lugares maravillosos y mágicos como El Valle del Elqui. Vivo en un departamento a una cuadra de la playa.

  I believe I can offer a unique cultural experience from various aspects. Firstly, the place where I live is very rich in culture, with impressive colonial architecture and a wide variety of beaches and natural environments to explore. Additionally, my mother is a history teacher, so she has a deep knowledge of the region and many interesting stories to share about its past and cultural heritage. As for myself, as a consultant in administration, accounting, and finance, I can offer a different perspective on the business world and share experiences and knowledge in these fields. Furthermore, my passion for traveling has allowed me to experience different cultures and traditions, making me open to cultural exchange and mutual learning. In summary, both my home and personal experience provide a unique opportunity to promote cultural exchange and learning in Workaway
  
  Creo que puedo ofrecer una experiencia cultural única desde varios aspectos. En primer lugar, el lugar donde vivo es muy rico en cultura, con una arquitectura colonial impresionante y una gran variedad de playas y entornos naturales para explorar. Además, mi madre es profesora de historia, por lo que tiene un profundo conocimiento de la región y muchas historias interesantes que compartir sobre su pasado y su patrimonio cultural. Por mi parte, como consultora en administración, contabilidad y finanzas, puedo ofrecer una perspectiva diferente sobre el mundo laboral y empresarial, así como compartir experiencias y conocimientos en estos campos. Además, mi pasión por viajar me ha permitido conocer diferentes culturas y tradiciones, lo que me hace estar abierto al intercambio cultural y al aprendizaje mutuo.   I need help with household cleaning, no more than two hours a day, and someone who can accompany and chat with my mom if I need to go out. Basically, I need someone to help me a bit so I can have about two hours for myself. The schedule is flexible, allowing you to explore and get to know all the surroundings

  Accommodation

  To provide an adequate description of the place where the Workawayers will reside, I can say that I have a guest room in my apartment. The apartment has two bathrooms for added convenience. As for meals, guests are welcome to share all meals with us. We strive to offer a comfortable and welcoming experience, where volunteers feel at home and enjoy Chilean hospitality while participating in our daily activities and shared projects
  
  Para proporcionar una descripción adecuada del lugar donde residirán los workawayers, puedo decir que dispongo de una habitación de invitados en mi departamento. El departamento cuenta con dos baños para mayor comodidad. En cuanto a la alimentación, los invitados están bienvenidos a compartir todas las comidas con nosotras. Nos esforzamos por ofrecer una experiencia cómoda y acogedora, donde los voluntarios se sientan como en casa y disfruten de la hospitalidad chilena mientras participan en nuestras actividades diarias y proyectos compartidos.

  There are plenty of activities for Workawayers to enjoy during their free time. They can take leisurely walks along the beach, enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, or engage in sports activities on the shore. Additionally, they can indulge in the local gastronomy, particularly seafood dishes, and delve into the history of the area. A visit to the Elqui Valley is a must, where they can explore the birthplace of Gabriela Mistral and experience the mystical beauty of the valley. They can also explore and wander through the colonial center of La Serena, visit Coquimbo with its port, Millennium Cross, mosque, and more.
  
  Hay muchas actividades para que los Workawayers disfruten durante su tiempo libre. Pueden pasear por la playa, disfrutar de hermosos amaneceres y atardeceres, o participar en deportes en la playa. Además, pueden disfrutar de la gastronomía local, especialmente de los platos de mariscos, y explorar la historia del área. Una visita al Valle del Elqui es imprescindible, donde podrán explorar el lugar de nacimiento de Gabriela Mistral y experimentar la belleza mística del valle. También pueden explorar y recorrer el centro colonial de La Serena, visitar Coquimbo con su puerto, la Cruz del Milenio, la mezquita, ¡y mucho más!
