    This is a small "wildlife land trust sanctuary" where we work to regenerate forest and habitat for wildlife in the northern rivers of NSW Australia. (There are no "animals" kept on the property ) Abundant seasonal fruits, native vegetation and wildlife . Seven km. from the nearest store or public transport in a valley of trees.

    You could learn about issues facing rural landholders around the introduction of pests and weeds, different types of land management techniques and small scale regeneration. Development of conservation, land care and sanctuary areas in Northern NSW. May include opportunities to see wildlife, koalas, wallaby, water dragons, coastal carpet python, echidnas etc. if they pass by!

    We are looking to work with fit and energetic people who would like to learn how to regenerate forest and habitat , including gardens and can be comfortable with gardening equipment and tools - or are willing to learn.

    (Non-smoking - drug free) light filled self contained studio with outdoor / undercover composting toilet shower (hot and cold) outdoor BBQ, swimming pool and undercover areas - shared use of laundry and other facilities. (Limited mobile coverage) beautiful gardens to relax in. Food would be 2 ovo -vegetarian / vegan meals provided daily plus healthy snacks. (if meat is required - responsibility of the workaway)

    35 minutes from Byron Bay (by car) 60 Mins to Coolangatta airport. Limited local transport however occasional lifts can be arranged. If you have outside work we prefer if you have access to your own transsport as local transport is limited.
