  Pian D'Astura, Casentino Forest National Park. A magical and wild place in the valley of the quiet water, precisely the valley of Dante Alighieri, where he wrote the Divine Comedy. It is here that we have decided to settle down, taking over the management of a mountain house, and here that we want to live and raise our children immersed in a breathtaking park, in the midst of large pastures to take back our peasant origins. It is here that we aspire to self-sufficiency in food and energy, practicing the open house philosophy where those who need a place to live or stay for a period can do so even if they have no financial means. Our motto is "The House belongs to those who live it and the Earth to those who work it".

  Un luogo magico e selvaggio nella valle dell acqua Cheta , precisamente la valle di Dante Alighieri,dove scrisse la Divina commedia.
  È qui che abbiamo deciso di stanziarci, prendendo in gestione una Casa montana, e qui che vogliamo vivere e crescere i nostri figli immersi un un parco mozzafiato,in mezzo a grandi pascoli per riprendere in mano le nostre origini contadine.
  È qui che aspiriamo ad una autosufficienza alimentare ed energetica, praticando la filosofia di casa aperta dove chi ha bisogno di un posto dove vivere o stare per un periodo possa farlo anche se non dispone di disponibilità economiche.
  Il nostro motto è " La Casa è di chi la vive e la Terra di chi la lavora".

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  We deal with agriculture, gardening, food conservation and processing, bread-making, soap-making, we self-produce everything that is possible including soaps and household cleaners so that our presence in the park is completely without environmental impact. We are always willing and available to experiment with new techniques and teach our own. Here it is possible to have a real idea of how one can and should live in complete harmony with nature and the world around us without too many idealisms and abstract concepts. Here one lives with what the earth gives us and if there is not something one willingly does without it, exactly as it once was, true country life where the superfluous, wasteful, useless is not well seen. We offer the opportunity to experience this life up close and understand its mechanisms.
  
  
  Ci occupiamo di agricoltura, allevamento giardinaggio, conservazione e trasformazione alimentare, panificazione, saponificazione, autoproduciamo tutto ciò che è possibile compresi saponi e detergenti per la casa affinché la nostra presenza nel parco sia completamente senza impatto ambientale.
  Siamo sempre disposti e disponibili a sperimentare nuove tecniche e insegnare le nostre.
  Qui è possibile avere una idea reale di come si può e si dovrebbe vivere in completa armonia con la natura e il mondo che ci circonda senza troppi idealismi e concetti astratti qui si vive con ciò che la terra ci dona e se non c'è qualcosa se ne fa volentieri a meno, esattamente come era un tempo, la vera vita di campagna dove il superfluo, lo spreco, inutilità non è ben visto.
  Offriamo la possibilità di sperimentare questa vita da vicino e capirne i meccanismi.

  Help

  We need farmers, carpenters, masons, carpenters, to create vegetable gardens, fences, and rearrange the abandoned living spaces and create new ones. We also have a 3 year old girl with us. Parents with children and/or au pairs are also welcome during the periods in which we are behind big jobs
  
  Abbiamo bisogno di agricoltori, carpentieri muratori, falegnami,per realizzare, orti, recinti, e risistemare gli spazi abitativi dismessi e crearne altri.
  Con noi c'è anche una bambina di 3 anni.
  Ben accetti anche genitori con figli e o ragazze alla pari nei periodi in cui siamo dietro a grossi lavori

  Accommodation

  Agricultural mountain house, bed in a common room, bathroom present, common kitchen, meals are always made available to everyone, preferring home-made dishes. What is there is done. A genre of pasta, bread, fruit, vegetables and sweets are never lacking.
  
  Casa di montagna agricola, posto letto in stanza comune ,bagno presente, cucina comune, i pasti sono sempre messi a disposizione di tutti prediligendo pietanze della casa. Quel che c'è si fa.
  Un genere pasta pane frutta verdura e dolci non mancano mai.

  Inside the park there are numerous Cai paths where you can visit the park. Reach the beautiful Acqua Queta waterfall.
  
  All interno del parco numerosi sentieri Cai dove poter visitare il Parco Raggiungere la Bellissima Cascata dell Acqua Cheta.
