Description
Hi, we're a hostel located in the center of Oaxaca. Although we are not a party hostel we like to socialize and have a good time with everyone. We aim to be the home away from home for many travellers that stay with us.
We understand how important your hostel experience is. Our goal is for us that you as the volunteer have a great cultural experience, which will result in the guests having a great experience here at our hostel.
We offer Free Breakfast, beds, our kitchen and of course our pool
All activities that are hosted by volunteers, are paid by us. So totally free for you :D.
Helping our staff on reception, helping run activities and being the soul of our place.

Our hostel is run by local staff, including the manager, the receptionist and our lovely cleaners. It is a great way to learn about the history and culture of Oaxaca, learn how to cook local food and of course improve your Spanish!
We offer a free stay at the hostel, an easy day-to-day role being a great help to our local staff, a friendly atmosphere and the sense of belonging to a family, the hostel family!
Oaxaca is probably one of the best food places of Mexico. And let's face it, we all love Mexican food haha. If you are in Mexico, you almost have to come to Oaxaca to taste the best of Mexican food.
Also, you will be part of our Family here. We all travelled at some point. And a time connecting with someone and feel like we have a family for 1 month or more who takes care of each other, is sooo important for us travellers.
Help
We would like you to help out our local staff on Reception and with activities. If you are someone who likes to be around people and have fun and happy vibes then you would fit in amazing here with us.

Hostel Dorm:
There will be a volunteer dorm provided with the same standard and amenities as our guests.
It's your home, so you are welcome and free to use everything we have. We do provide a cooked breakfast from 7:30 until 11am, entomatadas con huevos, huevos a la mexicana and vegan hot cakes :D

There are a million beautiful things to do around Oaxaca. We encourage you do be around the local places and restaurants. We can provide a lot tips to explore

The manager and volunteers were all super lovely, social and ready to lend a hand when needed. The workload was very manageable, 5x 5hr shifts a week including a fun bar shift and an activity. The free beers were great too.
