Description
Established in 1952 by Pat and Helen. The historic lodge is located in the middle of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, known as Alaska's Playground and is currently owned by Keith.
We have lodging, a full-service bar and restaurant, a tackle and souvenir shop, and an on-site liquor store.
The lodge is the closest restaurant and lodging to the confluence of two world-class salmon streams; the Kenai River and the Russian River. We are a favorite among fishers that frequent these waters.
We are nestled at the base of the majestic Kenai Mountains. Our location is just across the street from the Kenai River in the Chugach National Forest, bordering the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
we are looking to fill positions from June to October. We have a bit of flexibility but definitely need a commitment for the Summer!!🙂
A variety of help is needed. Waitstaff, retail store associates, housekeepers, bar tenders and line cooks.
We are particularly needing someone who enjoys the company of an older person. Kate is an incredible young 95! She loves to read, go for a walk (needs to be pushed in her travel chair), she is capable of some great conversations and just needs someone to sit with her while she enjoys a meal. Your not expected to cook her meals they will be prepared for her in our restaurant. This would not be everyday but would be 4 to 5 days a week and rotated out with another care provider. She loves to people watch and so lots of her time is spent just enjoying her surroundings and needs to be just checked in on. This position is for the middle of May (give or take) to the beginning of Sept. The other hours would be spent assisting with an array of positions at the lodge.Languages spoken
