Description
We are directed by Croatian Youth Hostel Association, a non-profit organization and member of global hostel organization Hostelling International. Our hostel on Losinj Island is a great place to meet various people and get local and international experience. Please note that our hostel neither Losinj Island are party places, this is more sports and chill out destination.
Hostel can accommodate 50 people and is located in the centre of Veli Losinj, just behind the main port. We offer you life + work experience in a friendly atmosphere. Welcoming hosts Katarina, Sean, hostels cat Tinkerbell and other fellow volunteers will do their best to help you to easy adopt to this hostel's life.

We offer multicultural environment, meet people from around the world, learning processes and procedures in hostel (HI Quality standards) and tourism in general. If interested, traveller can learn Croatian language while staying with us.
Help
- gardening (watering the plants, planting new ones, cleaning, cutting...),
- keeping hostel's surrounding area nice and clean,
- help the hostel's host in cleaning the rooms and common areas,
- other jobs given by the hostel manager.Languages spoken

Accommodation is organised in the hostel, sharing the room with another volunteer, shower and toilet are sharing on the floor. When hostel provides breakfast to its guests, same applies for the staff. Volunteers can use breakfast items anytime. Hostels kitchen can be used for cooking.

Losinj Island is called Island of Vitality. The mixture of pine tree and sea scents are blowing in the air, clear sea, neighbouring group of dolphins, miles of walking trails, several museums, gardens of fine scents and plenty of hidden bays will treat your body and soul. Day-trips are possible to small surrounding islands Susak, Unije, Ilovik or towns Mali Losinj, Osor, Cres... Also, one/two-day trips to cities Pula, Rijeka and Zadar may improve your Croatian Diary. We can organise you free stay in Croatian HI hostels there as one of the rewards for good volunteering with us :-D
