  Hello
  I'm an active retired lady, living with my husband not far from Annecy.
  IWe live in a detached house surrounded by a large garden not far from the village and the lake (both 5 min walk away).
  My husband works away a lot . I am looking for someone to help me with odd jobs around the house and garden, but also to share outdoor activities ( hikes, kayaking , sightseeing, etc )
  Indeed, for me, this workaway experience would be as much about enjoying your time with us, as helping around the house and garden.

  Je suis retraitée active, vivant avec mon mari non loin d'Annecy.
  Nous habitons dans une maison individuelle entourée d'un grand jardin non loin du village et du lac (les deux à 5 min à pieds).
  Comme mon mari est souvent absent pour son travail, je cherche une personne pour m'aider pour les petits travaux sur la maison et dans le jardin mais aussi pour pratiquer des activités telles que des randos, visites, kayak etc.
  En effet, cette expérience workaway serait pour moi autant dans un but d'aide au travail que pour la compagnie et echanges !

  When I am on my own ,with my 2 cats, I'd be very happy to share hobbies and show you around my region.
  I speak French but I am also fluent in English, as my husband is English (so often in England for work).
  
  Etant parfois seule, avec mes 2 chats, je serais très contente de partager des loisirs et de vous faire découvrir ma région.
  Je parle français et couramment anglais (mon mari étant anglais donc souvent en Angleterre pour son travail).

  Help

  I was planning to do a little maintenance on the shutters and in the garden: mowing, planting, raking, weeding, ...
  I'd also like to do some spring cleaning and sorting around the house. I have a vacation rental that I may need help with.
  Working hours can vary, depending on the task and the weather. Some days may be more intense, others more relaxed !
  I provide two meals a day: breakfast and lunch or dinner, depending on how the day unfolds.
  
  J'avais l'intention de faire un petit entretien des volets et dans le jardin : tonte, planter, ratisser, désheber, ...
  J'aimerai aussi faire un grand tri et ménage de printemps dans la maison. J'ai une location de vacances pour lequel il faudra peut être m'aider pour la remise au propre.
  Le temps de travail peut varier dépendant des tâches et de la météo. Certains jours seront peut plus intenses et d'autres plus tranquilles !
  Je fournis deux repas par jour : le petit déjeuner et déjeuner ou diner selon le déroulement de la journée.

  Large, peaceful house. You would have a private bedroom and bathroom at your disposal (shared with my grown up children when they are here).
  
  
  Grande maison au calme mais proche d'un village agréable. Vous auriez une chambre privée et une salle de bain à votre disposition (partagée avec mes enfants adultes quand ils sont là).

  What else ...

  We live 5 minutes' walk from Menthon Saint Bernard. A pretty village with a mini-market, bakery, pharmacy, café/bar/restaurant. We're also just a few minutes from the lake . Annecy is 8 km away, with a regular bus service and bicycles available.
  Annecy is a pleasant, dynamic town and the surrounding area is ideal for nature and mountain activities.
  
  Nous habitons à 5 min à pieds de Menthon Saint Bernard. Un joli village avec supérette, boulangerie, pharmacie, café/bar/retaurant. Nous sommes aussi à quelques minutes du lac . La ville d'Annecy se situe à 8 km, il y a une ligne de bus régulière et des vélos à disposition.
  Annecy est une ville agréable et dynamique et ses environs sont parfaits pour les activités de nature et montagne.
