Hello!
We are a family of 5, with two girls and a Labrador retriever. The girls are 5 years and 4 months! Maia is the 5 year old and from Monday to Friday she goes to school to do activities, Aura is 4 months old with me and a little help would be great! Salvador is my husband and he works in the morning and some days also in the afternoon!
We would like to have an aupair for a month or two this summer to try out the experience!
I am a primary school teacher and years ago I was an aupair in France, so I have very good memories of this experience and I would like my daughters to too. We adapt to it, if you want you can have all the weekends free. In the mornings from Monday to Friday there is only the little girl of 4 months and in the afternoon both of them.
We live in Amer, a town of 2,000 inhabitants 30 minutes from Girona, 40 minutes from the Costa Brava and one hour from Barcelona.
I would like to practice French with the aupair and if she has a basic level of Spanish (to communicate with my husband and my daughter Maia) it would be great, if she also has knowledge of English it would be interesting because Maia, the 5-year-old has started to study it in school since we don't speak it very well...!
We really like to meet friends and during the week we go a lot to the municipal swimming pool and the park. We always do things at the weekend, we have an apartment in Playa de Aro on the Costa Brava and also a camper van that we sometimes go camping or on a getaway!
We have some friends who also have an American aupair and we will do things together!

Somos una familia de 5, con dos niñas y una perra labrador. Las niñas tienen 5 años y 4 meses! Maia es la de 5 años y las mañanas de lunes a viernes va a la escuela a hacer actividades, Aura de 4 meses esta conmigo y me iría genial un poco de ayuda! Salvador es mi marido y el trabaja por las mañanas y algunos días también por la tarde!
Nos gustaria tener una aupair un mes o dos este verano para probar con la experiencia!
Yo soy maestra de educación primaria y hace años fui una aupair en Francia, así que tengo recuerdos muy bonitos de esta experiencia y me gustaria que mis hijas también. Nos adaptamos a ella, si quiere puede tener todos los fines de semana libres. Las mañanas de lunes a viernes solo esta la pequeña de 4 meses y por la tarde las dos.
Vivimos en Amer, un pueblo de 2000 habitantes a 30 minutos de Girona, 40 minutos de la Costa Brava y a una hora de Barcelona.
Me gustaria practicar el francés con la aupair y si tiene nivel básico de español (para comunicarse con mi marido y mi hija Maia) seria genial, si también tiene conocimientos de inglés seria interesante porque Maia, la pequeña de 5 años ha empezado a estudiarlo en la escuela ya que nosotros no lo hablamos muy bien...!
Nos gusta mucho quedar con amigos y durante la semana vamos mucho a la piscina municipal y al parque. El fin de semana siempre hacemos cosas, tenemos un piso en Playa de Aro en la Costa Brava y también una furgoneta camper que a veces vamos de camping o de escapada!
Tenemos unos amigos que también tienen una aupair estadounidense y haremos cosas juntos!

Nous sommes une famille de 5 personnes, avec deux filles et une chien labrador retriever. Les filles ont 5 ans et 4 mois ! Maia a 5 ans et elle va à l'école tous les matins du lundi au vendredi pour faire des activités. Aura, de 4 mois, est avec moi et un peu d'aide serait super ! Salvador est mon mari et il travaille le matin et certains jours aussi l'après-midi !
Nous aimerions avoir un aupair pendant un mois ou deux cet été pour tenter l'expérience!
Je suis profésseure des écoles et il y a des années j'étais aupair en France, donc j'ai de très bons souvenirs de cette expérience et j'aimerais que mes filles aussi. Nous nous y adaptons, si vous le souhaitez vous pouvez avoir tous les week-ends libres et aucun matin ou après-midi! Le matin du lundi au vendredi il n'y a que la petite fille de 4 mois et l'après-midi les deux.

J'aimerais pratiquer le français avec l'aupair et si elle a un niveau basique d'espagnol (pour communiquer avec mon mari et avec Maia) ce serait super, si elle a aussi des connaissances en anglais ce serait intéressant car Maia, la petite de 5 ans fille a commencé à l'étudier à l'école, pourquoi nous ne le parlons pas très bien..!
Nous aimons beaucoup nous retrouver entre amis et pendant la semaine nous allons beaucoup à la piscine municipale et au parc. Nous faisons toujours des choses le week-end, nous avons un appartement à Playa de Aro sur la Costa Brava et aussi un camping-car que nous partons parfois en camping ou en escapade !
Nous avons des amis qui ont aussi un aupair américain et nous ferons des choses ensemble!

Nos gustaria tener una persona activa y participativa con la vida familiar! Nos gustaria que jugara con Maia, hablar mucho con ella y planificar alguna actividad, manualidad... A mi me gustaria practicar el francés y ayudarnos tambien en alguna tarea del dia a dia, pero sobre todo disfrutar de la experiencia.

Accommodation
We live in a house and she would have her own room. On weekends if we go on the beach floor you will also have your room, and if we go with the camper van you can sleep with Maia or with a tent!
Vivimos en una casa y ella tendría su propia habitación. Los fines de semana si vamos en el piso de la playa también tendrá su habitación, y si vamos con la furgoneta camper puede dormir con Maia o con una tienda de campaña!

You can enjoy the village pool and the mountains if you like to play sports. You can go to Girona (30 min) or Barcelona (1 hour) with public transport. If you have a driver's license, we can lend you our car.
Puede disfrutar de la piscina del pueblo y de las montañas que hay si le gusta hacer deporte. Puede ir a Girona (30min) o a Barcelona (1hora) con transporte publico. Si tiene carnet de conducir, podemos dejarle nuestro coche.
