*Now looking for Workaways starting as of January '24, in Bulgaria or any neighbouing counties. Ideally a place where I can learn natural/ eco building.

Hi all!

I did an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Business in Canterbury, England. I did my first solo trip in 2022 from June until November, exploring the Balkans and South of Italy. Since then I have done an internship and worked here and there.

Most of all, I'd like to do gardening, learn about eco building, help in any non governmental organization/ charity or do hostel work. I'd also generally love to learn how to upcycle old furniture (a hobby I've been recently getting into), have the chance to learn/ practice Russian and practice and improve on my vegan cooking skills so any chance to do that would be great.

I am vegan for environmental and ethical reasons. I like dancing occasionally and I love reading books/ articles related to current events, international relations, social entrepreneurship, religion and philosophy, feminism and self- improvement. I'm passionate about environmentalism, sustainability and zero waste life.

Looking to ideally do around 20-25h per week but I'm flexible. More than happy to work weekends and longer days if and when required.

I am Bulgarian, I've lived in England, Italy and Czech Republic. I am 25 years old.

I do not smoke or drink.

I have an EU passport and EHIC.

[*I also have right to work in the UK (pre- settled status, NIN and UK bank account); as well as a US passport/ SSN. I'm happy to discuss coming to work/ volunteer in either of those countries in 2024/2025*]

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have experience working in hostels in Kotor, Nottingham and Inverness, doing housekeeping and reception work. I have experience being a waitress in restaurants and a pub, pet sitting, childcare, working in a campsite, and some barista experience (in a bakery; no experience dealing with alcohol but happy to learn). I have basic computer skills such as Microsoft office and I've done a content management internship for a website in Prague, Czech Republic (Wordpress/ SEO). I've assisted with event management; drafting documents, presentations, video scripts and other content for internal events; writing and editing blog content; conducting interviews and doing background research for papers as part of an internship with an NGO. I'm used to helping my grandparents in their garden where they grow fruits and veggies, as well as preserve food for winter. I also have experience in social care, looking after elderly people and adults with disabilities. I adore animals and I'd be happy to take care of them but my experience is limited (apart from cats and dogs with which I'm confident).
I have been living on my own in foreign countries since I left high school which made me a very independent, responsible and clean person. I can assist with cooking and cleaning.
I do have a Driver's license but am still an inexperienced driver so keep that in mind.
