Beschreibung

Hi, we are Julius (22) & Sanne (26), from Germany & the Netherlands. About 6 months ago we met through Workaway and have been traveling and living in various communities together ever since. We’ve formed such a strong, beautiful, deep friendship in this time! Our personalities and skills complement each other perfectly and we’ve been such an amazing team in work and life. Both of us are very passionate and hardworking, sociable and we love to meet new people to form awesome connections with. We love spending time in Nature and going on adventures a lot. We are looking for an awesome project to put our energy and skills to good use.

Julius: I’ve been traveling with just my backpack for over a year now. I really enjoy slow traveling, so I can take my time settling in, learning new skills and really getting to know the people, space and culture. Freedom is what I live for, and I really enjoy doing physical work, education and self-improvement. Im always looking for new inspiration and fresh impulses to broaden my horizons and fill my head with new ideas.

Sanne: 3 years ago I moved to Portugal where i lived in and co-managed an off-grid community, followed by a few months of backpacking. I love both of these lifestyles so much and they’ve thought me a lot of different skills and brought me so many deep friendships. Open communication, kindness, creativity, teamwork and self-development are really important to me. Living in deep connection with nature, people and self is how I live life. I’m always open to learn new skills and explore what this beautiful world has to offer!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Julius: My skillset is quite varied, but i'd say my best skills are learning quick, being very efficient and being brave. I have experience building cabins, maintaining gardens, cleaning hostels, bar work, animal care and (dog)training, leading outdoor excursions and a lot more. Especially practical, physical work is my strength. I am physically strong as well and I could teach you some fitness if you want. I also have professional experience with photography, videography and content creation/management. I speak English and German fluently. That's basically it about my skills, if I am useful to you we are all happy :)

Sanne: Living and working in the community has thought me so many skills, both physical and social. Here I co-managed the project, which included leading a volunteering team of 6-18 people, organizing and hosting diverse events (live music, holistic retreats, mini-festivals, markets, pizza night etc), Air-bnb check-ins and changeovers, bar work, cooking for small and large groups, animal care (dogs, cats, horses, goats & chickens), diy-projects, garden work and everything else that comes with off-grid living. Living together with so many people from all over the world thought me a lot about communication and teamwork! Im fluent in English and Dutch, beginner in Portuguese and understand German very well, but a beginner at speaking. Aside from this I love doing various creative projects and I have been working as a Tattoo artist part time for about 3 years.

Was noch ...

Julius: I love going on adventures, adrenaline rushes and pushing myself to my own limits both in physical sense and self-discipline in general. I have a passion for helping people see their true potential and facing their fears, and have coached people towards a freedom mindset.


Sanne: I love creating things with my hands, be it cooking a beautiful meal, creating jewelry, braiding, painting, tattooing, sewing and so much more! I’ve spent a lot of time in my life hanging out with many kinds of animals, and have many years of experience taking care of and riding horses, which I would love to do a lot more of! Im also really interested in Ancient History, Philosophy, Archeology, Anthropology, Consciousness and related topics.
