Beschreibung

Sarah: For the last few years i worked as a physiotherapist with elderly people, so trying to live a healthy, balanced life is therefore very important to me. I loved the social aspect of my job, but i missed being outside and the possibility of working on my own. I grew up on a traditional farm and have worked many hours weeding, planting and harvesting different vegetables. But since a few years I have become interested in learning more about an ecological way of farming. Since I've met Yared this has become even more important to me because of his work on various biodynamic farms. We share a love for anything kitchen-related; cooking, baking, fermenting and preserving. Otherwise my day consists of reading, singing, crocheting, hiking, being creative and trying to play the guitar :). I would love to know more about foraging, the medicinal use of plants, permaculture and in general how to live a more eco-conscious life!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Sarah: Cooking, fermenting, making jams, baking, doing chores around the house. I have a physiotherapy degree and experience (4 years in a cardiorehabilitation center) and a yoga teacher degree. I have worked and live on a traditional farm, so I know how hard the work/life can be.

Yared: Organic farming, bio(-dynamic) agriculture (worked 3 years on farms in Belgium), all types of green work, knowledge about permaculture and agroforestry by self-study and small scale projects in my own- and friends' gardens. Harvesting and cooking/preserving fruits and vegetables. I followed a one-year course on nature-preservation of woodland, grassland, wetlands,... I know a lot about wild plants (edible, medicinal, toxic,...) and edible mushrooms by self-study and about soil, rocks and minerals (studied Geology).
Furthermore I play guitar and sing (when I'm not in a shy-mood (; )
