Hi! My name is Lourdes Honerkamp and I'm 22 years old. I always wanted to travel the world and experience as much of it as I can. I really like to meet new people and their way of living all around the globe. That's why I've decided to give workaway a try :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Because I got my university entrance qualification specialized in social pedagogy, I worked for half a year in a nursery school for children with special needs. The other half of that year I was working in an elementary school for children with special needs. It was a great and fun experience and I have learned a lot!
Grewing up I was always surrounded by dogs and cats. We even had rabbits for which I cared by myself. I also had my own pony since I was twelve years old. Even back then me and my twin sister cared for our ponies mostly by ourselves. So I can say I have some experience in animal care.

Was noch ...

In my freetime I love to go out for walks or hikes with my sister and her dog. Most of the time we also take another dog with us, which belongs to our neighbors who sadly don't really care for him.. I kind of see it as my responsibility to give him the best life I possibly can. However I also love to read books! I like to play the piano, draw and paint or go rollerskating with my sister. Furthermore I love to meet my friends. We often play different kinds of board games or just talk with a glass of wine about anything and everything till the sun goes up again :D
