Beschreibung

Hello, we are Caroline and Thibault, french couple, currently travelling on our bicycles called Thelma and Luis.

We quit Paris and our jobs in July 2023 to navigate throughout the world (at least France, Spain and Portugal :) ) on wheels.
On this journey, we want to seek, learn and share ways of living our world in a more human and sustainable way.

Caroline, 33, French with Portuguese roots, comes from a family where hardworking and helping others is very important.
These key values led her to very strong professional and personal experiences, both happy and unhappy.
Today, she s taking the opportunity to press pause from a very stressful and city based life to experience alternative yet more lucid and connected to our nature lifestyles.
Other things hosts might want to know about her :
* She always lived in shared places so she's very used and happy with community life and work.
* She s a beginner in most farming activities but a very dedicated and fast learner. She's also a creative person who enjoys finding sustainable solutions.
* She loves animals even if I’m not used to farm animals yet.

Thibault, a 31 year old urban planner, is since his childhood bike nerd, as it's a way to be outside in the nature, and to travel at slow pace, being able to feel the surrounding and see the smiles of the people sitting at coffees when passing by :) When not biking or spending time in nature, he likes playing guitar (we have a small Guitalele with us !) and saxophone, or cook !

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I (Thibault) already had some wwoofing experiences in the past (almost 10 years ago....) and i always wanted to give some time again for projects that are senseful to me.

We see wwoofing as a way to enable a better sense of connection to earth and ground, and to local economies. And also meeting and sharing with inspiring people with fresh ideas and creativity, and also smiles and laughs! We want to explore ways of building communities, as well as bioconstruction and permaculture.


All this to bring back one day in France and create our own participative living place.
